Q: Favorite character & why? A: I really like Zerhea. She's pretty cool, and there's room for character development and such. Q: Least favorite character & why? A: The Baron. And uh... Maybe Strubin Q: Favorite chapter & why? A: Not sure. I do like chapter 34, when they are dealing with the minions of the Baron. The minions aren't really bad people, just people controlled by another. Q: Least favorite chapter & why? A: Not sure I have one. Some may be slower, sure, but it's all to move the plot along. Q: Favorite scene & why? A: hmmm. The assessment was pretty funny, and really the gang's adventures together are fun too. Q: Least favorite scene & why? A: I'm not sure I have one. If there was one I would distinctly remember it or I've just forgotten lol. Q: Which character do you find the most compelling in terms of development and overall character arc? A: I find Arius to be compelling; he's resentful of his sister and everyone loves her. So he tries to get rid of her, and she still gives him another chance. I like sad characters XD Q: Which character is the most interesting? A: I think Macaroon ( lol Maceren) because he's got a lot of mystery around him. I am still given the feeling that he may be a bit morally grey, and isn't completely trustworthy, but honestly whatever way you go with this character, just know you still have some mystery you could play up at some point. Gives me the vibes of "will betray, but will learn his lesson eventually". Q: Which character is the least interesting? (Background characters are supposed to be boring, but that's fair if you choose one) A: Strubin might need some more character development. So far, he feels a bit like a stereotype. Lovey and supportive. A character arc for him would be nice to see. Q: Illesior or Strubin? (not anything ship-wise, just general characters overall) A: Illesior is a more interesting character, I love myself some chaotic, probably evil characters. Q: Sophi or Kirune? A: How about Sophi and Kirune... Together. Lol, I connect to them in different ways, but maybe Sophi. Q: Aven or Arius? A: uhhhh... Maybe Arius. Q: Maceren or Dorai'Kur? A: Maceren Q: What are some ships you'd like to see become canon in the novel/comic? (i.e. Kirune x Sophi, etc.) A: Kirune x Sophi is cute. Not to be weird or anything, but Zerhea gives me lesbian vibes (but no one to ship her with :'( ) Q: What is the most intriguing thing mentioned so far? A: The place they are traveling to is interesting. Mages, and the whatshisface spirit, and also the gods. Q: What has been your favorite arc so far? (i.e. ch. 9-18 Assessment Quest, ch. 30-32 Dungeon arc, ch. 22-32 Arius Redemption arc, ch. 24-present Maceren arc, etc.) A: Present arc has the stakes and characters for a good adventure. Q: What are your thoughts on Dukalis as a character? What can I do to improve him? A: Interesting. He feels like a bad guy, but I'm not exactly sure yet. Improving him might be hard, but maybe some flashbacks could help solidify his character. Except if he's a bad guy, that might make it a bit more obvious so be careful with that suggestion XD Q: How can I improve characters and which ones do you feel are the least developed? A: Misunderstandings and fights between the group could give some stakes, by then make the bond stronger between the main cast. Sophi, Kirune, Maceren, and Strubin could all use a little touch ups. Though I feel that maybe Sophi and Kirune might be fine where they are. Q: What is something you're confused about in the novel? (Some things are retconned in the comic so that's a bit different) A: I have a hard time remembering things and names, so I don't think I can give suggestions here. All questions I have are really just because the story isn't done yet, so I'm excited to see what's next! Q: What are some things you like about the novel/comic? A: You can really describe things in detail, and your drawing skills are peak. Q: What are some things you dislike about the novel/comic? A: Pacing could be worked on, but otherwise good. Q: Finally, what are your overall thoughts on the novel/comic as a whole? Good writing or nah? (I'm 17 not a professional so please keep that in mind. I'll get better over time) A: I enjoy the writing. Your sense of humor really helps the comic, and the world building and story is really intriguing! Keep going, I'm really loving it!
