Use turbowarp for a crisp, smooth experience, and also to help against lag: https://turbowarp.org/1169901761?interpolate&hqpen&limitless&offscreen&clones=Infinity Oh my! Your restaurant has run out of fish! Whatever can we do? Well, it seems our only option is fishing for more! In this game, you play as Head Chef Herman, who has realized his restaurant has run out of fish. Fish, sell, and buy upgrades to assemble your own fishing rod. Instructions: -_-_-_-_-_-_- • Press the Spacebar or Click to cast your line. • WASD, arrow keys, or click for mobile to move your hook in the water to find a fish! • When a fish is not pulling against your line, spam click or space to reel it in. Signified by the lack of particles, and the fish facing toward your bobber. • When a fish is pulling against your line, do not click or press space, or your line loses health. You will know if they are pulling by particles and them swimming away from your bobber. Your rod has 4 health points — if it hits zero, the line snaps and you lose your fish. • Click on the tackle box on the dock to open the sell menu, to sell your fish to the restaurant to serve to customers. • Click on the upgrade bench found next to the tackle box on the dock to open the Upgrades menu. Click on the various upgrades you would like to buy to upgrade your rod. Upgrades: -_-_-_-_-_- • Rod shaft: Upgrading this increases the distance you can cast your line. Caught fish do not respawn, meaning you must cast farther or shorter to find more fish. • Reel: Allows you to bring fish to the surface faster, taking less clicks. • Line: Increases the length of your line, allowing your hook to go deeper to catch better fish. This is the most important upgrade, probably. • Bait: Some fish need certain baits to be caught. Higher-level baits work for lower-level fish as well. Oh by the way, this is mobile friendly :)
Thank you to Griffpatch for hosting the monthly game jam — the theme was Assemble! I voiced the main chef. – @Werter4 Thanks to @Lodolux for voicing the second chef. The main music is from Animal Crossing, all rights to Nintendo. All code was written by me this time. Every bit of it. Yay! And finally, thank you to Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Thanks Griffpatch! I won again!
