Lore: Deep in a dense, jungle-like forest, the Clans have made their home for countless moons. Vines twist through ancient trees, massive roots crack stone, and the air is thick with shadow. But something has changed. A dark curse has seeped into the land—one that twists the dead and corrupts the living. The Dark Forest, long banished, has found a way back—possessing cats who fall to the jungle’s dangers… or even those still breathing. These cursed cats become Verdant Wraiths(Name might change), grotesque, vine-wrapped beasts with glowing eyes, broken bodies, and the lingering memories of who they once were. Some are lost warriors. Some are friends. Some are you—if the curse takes hold. When a cat is defeated by a monster or tainted by the jungle’s creeping sickness, they risk being overtaken—their soul stolen, their body reshaped into a tool of darkness. Not even StarClan can break the curse. Only one place is safe: the Clan camp, protected by ancient wards laid by the first medicine cats to sense the corruption. Inside, warriors gather, plan raids for supplies, seek lost cats, and try to hold back the ever-closing vines. But the curse is spreading. The jungle is alive. And even the most loyal warrior may not be what they seem. --- Gameplay Themes & Features: Survival & Horror: Cats must explore dangerous jungle zones for resources while avoiding (or confronting) cursed creatures. Corruption Mechanic: Players can become “tainted” if they’re injured or exposed too long—this affects dialogue, appearance, and possibly ends in transformation. Camp Hub: A safe zone where players rest, train, receive quests, and piece together the mystery of the curse. Monster Variants: Former Clanmates turned wraiths, jungle beasts, The jungle is cursed. That much the Clans have accepted. But it’s the night that is truly feared. At sundown, the jungle awakens. Shadows twist unnaturally. Trees whisper in voices no cat should understand. And the cursed—those taken by the Dark Forest—become monstrous beyond recognition. Leaving camp at night is forbidden. Even the bravest warriors don’t question it. The camp’s protective wards, maintained by medicine cats through ancient rituals, hold strong during the darkness—but only within its borders. Still, some cats go missing in the night. Some return… changed. During the day, the forest is quieter, but never safe. Verdant Wraiths and jungle monsters still roam, though fewer. Daylight weakens their strength and numbers, offering the only window to explore, hunt, and search for answers. But even in the light, stepping too deep into the jungle or lingering too long can mean corruption… or worse. --- Day/Night Gameplay Cycle: Day: Wraith activity is reduced. Safe to explore for resources, rescue missions, scouting. Chance of encountering a weakened cursed creature(Not really weakend but not as active at night). Taint exposure is lower but builds over time(Not to sure on this but the chance on becoming one is getting k1lled by one or getting injured enough to become one) Night: Wraiths are hyperactive and hunt in packs (Not to sure on this one either). Stronger monsters emerge, including corrupted Clanmates.(Not to sure on this either) Cats who stay outside camp risk instant death or transformation.
tbh this might become a game instead of a rp (If I can figure out the code :/ But here is some of the lore
