firstly, quinn's perspective on this issue is amazing, so please go read it. i'm sure we've all seen the sheer amount of oorp hate that has been occurring recently. between the mossclan rebellion and the fc and mc war, a lot of people have been openly expressing their dislike for other people's characters, inrp and oorp. and obviously, the first one is fine! inrp hate should be expected and welcomed by the owners of evil or controversial characters. however, oorp hate is never okay. so many people around the gens community have been showering other member's characters and the members themselves with hate. not only is this problem harming people's mental health, but it is also making people leave the rp. i have been in gens for a long time. and so far, i've never seen oorp hate as more prominent an issue. yeah, so thanks for reading this! i hope that by the time that fal comes back, this problem will be properly resolved.
