Faceless DTA Due date- passed Hello, rascals! Welcome to my very first DTA! I've been wanting to do one of these for a while now, and I finally came up with some designs to contest off. This DTA is to celebrate having 60 followers on scratch! I hope that everyone entering this contest enjoys the designs I created. ------------ DTA stands for "Draw to adopt." If you don't know this already, I don't know why you're here. But essentially, this just means you choose the character you want, draw them to the best of your ability, then submit before the deadline. Once the deadline had passed, I consider all of the entries for each character. Whoever I feel like drew the character the best wins the rights to them. They can use the character however they want afterwards. I'm going to quit yapping now. On to the rules! ----------- 1. Most obvious rule in a DTA; no using AI, Gacha, Picrew (and other character creators), or someone else's art. In other words, what you submit needs to be drawn by YOU. 2. Please do not put down other people's entries- or your own! I want this to be a positive, supportive, and civil contest. 3. Please do not claim any character as your own unless I have clearly stated, specifically to you, AFTER the contest, that you have won them. 4. Take time on your entries. I don't want any sloppy entries for the characters. I prefer 2-3 entries for one character, any more might be too much. 5. Less a rule, more a tip; animations, backstories, backgrounds, color, and shading will increase your chances of winning. 6. The moodboards are completely created by me. I pulled the photos from Pexels and organized everything in Canva. Please don't use them without my permission. 7. You can change the species and the design as you want, just make sure the design is recognizable. ----------- Designs: 1.This design is no longer able to be entered for. Sorry to everyone who started drawing Playing Cars. 2. The Melody's Garden Notes: The tail is just a record surrounded with flowers and wheat. If you don't know what a record is, maybe you're a bit too young for scratch. The head is basically a short piano in a pretty box. The right front leg is gone, and the stump is bandaged. 3. Waterboarding the Forest Notes: Waterboarding is a form of torture where the victim experiences a sensation similar to drowning. I wont elaborate since I don't want this project taken down. If you want to know more about it, Google is free. The little baubles and other yellow lumps are glowy- I forgot to color the illumination. The yellow spheres are big lights on a chain. There's nothing for paw pads, just the light pink of the underbelly. I also put the color palette to the side because color picking from this would be a nightmare. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1st place winner: the design (obviously), a fullbody drawing of one of YOUR characters (cel shaded), a halfbody drawing of one of YOUR characters (cel shaded), a chibi of one of YOUR characters (not shaded), and a follow 2nd place winner: a fullbody drawing of one of YOUR characters, and a chibi OR halfbody drawing (cel shaded) of one of YOUR characters 3rd place winner: an unshaded fullbody or cel shaded halfbody of one of YOUR characters (These prizes stand for each design, so there will technically be nine people winning prizes, even though only three of them will also get the design)
