I'm taking care of Ocean's horses and barn while she's gone and that includes riding her horses! 1-11] I tacked up Cookie and took her to the round pen arena to jump her! The first jump we took was kind of rough. Our timing was off, and so her back hooves knocked down the rail. The second jump went much better. I dismounted then and reset the jump. We took it again, and we went over it smoothly this time. 12-15] I bridled Pringle next and we went bareback for a trail ride. 16-20] Unfortunately, we came across a snake on the way back! Pringle freaked, which I cannot blame him for, and he started rearing. I just barely held on. Thankfully, the snake slithered away, and Pringle calmed down enough to let me dismount. I handwalked him back to the barn.
