Foxy is my long time fursona, and has been for over six years now. She represents the trials I've faced through mental illness, and my own specific religious trauma. Her story is not my own, but a kind of reflection of it to help me express how I feel. Foxy has been tormented by endless streams of religious advice her whole life, and done her best to follow along with what she's told. Eventually, she starts to doubt. She sees trouble within her religion, and major events of anger and sin. She tries to stray away and follow her own religious beliefs but is constantly pulled back by the pain and suffering the church causes her. It eats away at her identity, leaving her flipping between the questions and convincing of the church and her own true self, which is slowly lost through the process.
