~Welcome to The Lion King: Pride Rock Academy!~ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- In this game, you are the son or daughter of Queen Kiara and Prince Kovu, rulers of Pride Rock, after the events of The Lion King 2. You are just a cub, so you will be attending a school for all the lion cubs at Pride Rock founded by Queen Kiara to help better unify the pride after the combination of the Pride Rock lions and Scar's lions into one pride. NOTE: ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This game is not finished yet, but I am working on it and probably will be working on it for awhile. Until then, enjoy! HOW TO PLAY: ------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Use the arrow keys to move around, and press the up arrow the jump. This game works like a platformer. - Hover your mouse over other cubs to see their names. Click on them to talk to them and get to know them. - At the beginning of the game, you can set how fast you want the time in the game to pass. typing "fast" will make the time change every thirty seconds, typing "medium" will make it change every minute, and typing "slow" will make it change every two minutes. - At Dusk, Midnight, or Early-Hours, you can press the space to skip to morning. I do not yet have a sleeping mechanism in yet, though in the future I am planning to add a cave inside pride rock where the pride sleeps. - As some of you might have noticed, the only sprite for the player-character I have right now is white-furred and looks mostly like a female cub. I will fix this in the future and give the player-sprite a more realistic coloring and a male/female appearance options. Until then, press the 1 button to view the head design for the future female sprite, the 2 button to view the head design for the future male sprite, and 3 to make either disappear. UPDATES: ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 7/7/21- Added drifting clouds when you are up on Pride Rock 8/7/21- Added the "sleeping cave" area, accessed by clicking the black pawprint while on pride rock. 14/7/21- Began working on the head designs for the adult sprites. 15/7/21- Kovu and Kiara characters added at pride rock. 16/7/21- Kai, Katana, and Kiburi added in the sleeping cave. 18/7/21- Added the third "below Pride Rock" area; characters Jani, Anga, and Kasi added. 18/7/21- Added a "rocky cliff" area above the third below rock area. 22/8/21- Added the first "savannah" area to the left of the start area.
