Guys listen to the cure please. I will now start. 14. The Top. - this is just kinda weird. Robert smith sounds like he's in an opera. shoutout to the live album 'concert' released the same year though. 13. The Cure - basically, they are trying to be something they are not. and the songs just aren't too good. 12. songs of a lost world - really, really sad. like, REALLY sad. too sad. the lyrics are a bit blunt as well. 11. 4:13 dream - a pretty solid album. has a bunch of good tracks I suppose; it's just not as good. 10. three imaginary boys - I love it! its like a sort of Beatles inspired little punky thing, packed with neat little tunes. 9. kiss me kiss me kiss me - there's one problem with this album; its too long. 8. p****ography - the vibe to describe this album is: gloomy, angry, sad, desperate, moody, monolithic. 7. Wish - okay this is where the albums get REALLY good. wish is like the follow up to disintegration, but just not as good. 6. bloodflowers - I love this album. its kinda trying too hard to be gothic at times, but that makes it really good. 5. wild mood swings - the first song, want, is the best start to an album there ever is and was and will be. 4. seventeen seconds - the minimalistic, a little bit creepy, and grey sound of the early 80s cure is defined on this album. OKAY. THE FIRST THREE WILL CHANGE EVERY DAY. I WILL NOT NUMBER THEM, BECAUSE THEY ARE EQUAL. faith - gloomy, monolithic, doomy, great. the cryptic lyrics, the intricate spider webs of guitar lines mixed in with the occasional synth and bass riffs and distant vocals mix and make a perfect album worth everyone's time. the head on the door - the different moods and vibes spread across these songs make for an interesting listen, from the classic cure of inbetween days, to the chilling lyrics and classic baseline of sinking, this album is not only packed with hits, but with deep cuts as well. shout out to the b side from the era, 'the exploding boy' disintegration: a bit of doom, a bit of gloom, and three 8-9 minute songs will hollow out your heart by the time your done. what I love about this album is how it knows precisely what it actually is: an amazing goth album.
guys please listen to some of these.
