(now in color! definitely not because i was so lazy I forgot to upload the colored version of my last two posts) here’s my new silver design (the strange sketch in the left corner).. finally a design i don’t feel entirely disappointed by i would love to describe each and every decision i made while working on their designs in the middle of an important exam of mine so here i go! sonic - yuji uekawa’s (my idol) design but simplified to include less reds and more blues and yellows, his vest’s also got his own icon on the backside (self appreciation is great) added a mini ponytail to let his hair flow with the wind like his quills shadow- white undershirt represents his heart shaped fur and the lil vest is like a combat jacket with rolled up sleeves to match his confidence(can you tell i love jackets) i added a belt because the red ties the lower body and upper body together. he also has MANY pockets because i truthfully just think he would have many pockets to be over prepared..and his hair is long and wavy because i could not draw a short hairstyle without giving him the messy look i wanted to convey because of the animations of him messing around with his quills and im so confident in myself because i think i honestly gave this my all -also made him beefier surely not because of dbz broly movie silver - i left silver for the last after the 4 hedgehogs, since i knew he’d be a pain in my back sooner or later. i got around to it, put too much gold and white on him, and left no room for any other colors. did it again, gave him a simpler vest, and curly hair. got terribly ill right after and assumed it was a sign i made a mistake. i held it off for a couple of days, then watched invincible. originally gave him a sweatshirt-like look, with an open zipper and black sleeves underneath. asked for constructive criticism, my friend didn’t know how to feel, and i immediately understood and went back to work. the long straight white hair was a staple so i transferred it into the newer design, with short sleeves (again, for a show of confidence) a vest styled like a utility vest (but i’d imagine it wasn’t) and pops of green and pink because white can go with a lot so why not leave my comfort zone and stylize it with lines? his bangs also float whenever he uses his powers (just like the concept art, venice the hedgehog) and voila but i might redesign out of anger

(i grin with a sinister glare, then eerily shift into the void where you can hear my shoes squeaking against the basketball court that mysteriously appeared in the dark) PARAMOUNT!!!
