Scribo AI corrects and enhances your English -- try these sentences: "it are an great day" - give wrong articles, wrong helping verbs and no punctuation Please report your bugs or any suggestions in the Comments, I will be happy to hear it! "hi what are you doing" - again, no punctuation and no capitalization "what an wonderful day" - sentence has 'what' but still won't be interrogative "yesterday was mon" - give short forms " it is what it is??????,,,,,......!!!!!!!!" - type symbols at the end/ wrong punctuation "um i say it is a honor?" Yes, it's not perfect yet, but it still does a few impressive things. If you want the full detail on what it can do, read the following: - CAPITALIZES the first letter and the word 'I', months, days of the week and very few specific nouns. - adds punctuation (.) or (!) or (?) correctly almost every time (also adds commas but doesn't work to all cases yet) and if the sentence already had punctuation at the end, it replaces it to the correct one (or keeps it the same if correct) - corrects all articles (a/an), even if they are exceptions (the changes: a apple ==> AN apple, an car ==> A car, a honor ==> AN honor, an unique ==> A unique) - corrects auxiliary/helping verbs (is/are/am) most of the time (example: "i are good" ==> "I AM good.") - replace some slangs/short forms with correct/capitalized words (example: nah ==> no, omg ==> OMG, jan ==> January) IT CANNOT: - detect all exclamatory sentences yet - capitalize all names - fix verbs - AND MUCH MORE! Thanks for playing Have a nice day. TAGS #AI #Grammar corrector #English corrector #New
HUGE CREDITS TO @Will_Wam for the text engine! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE LOG May 9 2025 - Created (idk what happened after this till some time, i didnt keep progress change but ig not major updates) June 14 2025 (11:00 PM or smth) - Huge update featuring - article update (corrects articles INCLUDING exceptions now), fixed punctuation not working every (odd) time. Fixed the bug where words like "is," "can", "could".. etc, could make the sentence interrogative whereas if they only come as the first word then the same should happen. Finally, added exclamatory mark to some extent where if you type some expressive or exclamatory words the sentence becomes the same. Jun 15 2025 (~11:00 PM) - Added punctuation correction regardless of given punctuation at the end. Before, if the sentence already had a full stop or whatever, Scribo kept it like that, but now, it actually replaces the old punctuation if it was wrong. Then, if your exclamation is negative (example, "this is not horrifying") then it does not add an exclamation mark at the end. Also now it adds commas to some words at the beginning like "Hey", "Yo", and much more but it didn;t work yet since I didnt test it fully. Jun 16 2025 (Afternoon) - Finished and fixed comma-adding, improved the question detection by A LOT (before these used to trigger it - specific words at the beginning like 'is', 'can', or if sentence contained words like 'what', 'where'. The problem with the latter one I said is that words like 'whatever' can also trigger it as well as non-interrogative sentences that have these words can too, for example, "What a lovely day!" or "I don't know what it is.". ) -- now they get triggered with specific phrases like 'what is....' or 'when do...'. Also added the feature where there words will trigger it if the sentence is only one word, like 'what?'. Then, Scribo now detects Full stops, question marks, exclamation marks, and slashes (/) (slashes because sometimes we press it without knowing) and smartly replaces them with the correct punctuation if they are at the end. So, "Hello!!!!!!??????//////////.........." becomes "Hello.". After a while, I added auxiliary verb correction (does not work all the time and with all major cases, gonna do it tomorrow it's so exhausting but fun but exhausting T_T :D) (~11: 00 PM)Changed the button and NOW THE AUXILIARY VERBS THING WORKS FULLY YAY and I added repeated correction I'll explain tomorrow gn. -Then added question detection for short forms (what's, how's where's etc..). Jun 17 2025 (~1:50 PM) - fixed the glitch where the new question script wasn't working, and fixed the other glitch where the letter 'D' would get erased if it were in the beginning. Also added replacement for commas at the end. (~ 3:50 PM) Added question detection for question words if they are at the end, June 21, 2025 (~6:30 PM) I was working on adding a place it takes you to, if your sentence literally wasn't one (contained no alphabets). But only ended up making half of the design for that and nothing else. June 22, 2025 (~10:50 PM) Finished the 'no sentence screen', changed the thumbnail a bit and also Scribo in the starting screen. But now I see something. For some reason, when I type some numbers in the beginning of the sentence, it just goes away. But not at ending numbers; only that. IDK why that happens, I'll look to it. (~11:00 PM) ALSO GUYS, I'M PROBABLY CHANGE IT TO VERSION 2 because, you know, it feels intermediate-ish now..? Just some bug fixes, redesigns and improvements, then the same I do. ALSO, I removed the heart + fav thingy, thinking to make a sprite for it (suggestion is the name kinda), but not done only removed. TOMORROW ILL DO ALL, GOODNIGHT Sometime after that, I added text engine and stuff. June 26 Added new sprite for thank you, Design update and finished and optimized typing script, replaces wrong words more (repeat 5 --> repeat 10). Note: the variable thingy typing script was backpacked from someone else, but I can't see the person's name from the backpack because it cuts out fully and even I don't remember it! It's gone now, but still I used it before, so, sorry whoever's typing script it was :[ July 1 2025 - fixed a glitch where the given sentence wouldn't match with the actual one. Thanks to @bluemoon8910 for saying about it. July 2 2025 - Added some more words that are corrected. Also, added question detection for "question word + the." Then, added comma addition to additional words. And improved comma detection so now it won't turn "hi there" into "hi, there.". After a while, changed thumbnail slightly. Then changed start screen to make it clearer AND OMG, I TYPOED SCRIBO INTO 'SCIRBO' IN THE THUMBNAIL AND START SCREEN FOR THE WHOLE TIME WHATTTT AND I THOUGHT EVERYONE ELSE WAS MISPLELLING THE NAME.... After another while... UPDATED WHOLE INTERFACE -- NOW IT'S SMOOTH AND INTERACTIVE. ADDED 'ABOUT' BUTTON.
