would normally not make a project like this, but i have to talk about this REALLY WEIRD finn me (astro), my friend (bassie, who im going to call isle for the rest of this project), and their brother (tisha) encountered. i will not name this finn as the point of this project is to highlight a problem inside the game, NOT to call this person out. i was in a run with isle and i wasnt really doing good. im not going to say anything more because this is indeed personal but our agreement at the beginning of the run was to end it when bassie spawned because it was the last bit of research they needed. long story short bassie spawned and me, them, and their brother (who had just joined) went to lobby. we were kind of planning to do a private run with the three of us, but i may have kind of delayed this from happening because, like i said, i didnt feel good mentally or physically. so we were like,, going around the map planning to trio but not actually doing anything?? we did have a person or two asking to join us and kind of follow us before but that didnt last long (not after isles brother said it was a private run and he didnt want anybody joining). thats when we encountered this... really weird lwk tone deaf finn. they got very close to us. uncomfortably close. and followed me in particular. and they kept asking if they could join our run, which isles brother told them over and over that it was a private run, the answer was no, and to go away. now me and isle at LEAST felt very uncomfortable at this point. since they were following us and acting like part of the conversation. i was also talking to isle about, once again, something very highly personal. and do you know what got them to leave us alone? after something like 10 minutes straight?? When my brother in law (dont ask i say this for funnies), told them NO for the hundredth time, they said "i wasnt asking you" and thats when i realized!!! they ONLY said "astro and bassie". and i'm like, 99% sure this was because we were playing as mains. and literally all i had to do was ask them to leave us alone and they left. which is not only very weird, but very disrespectful. and very uncomfortable. i asked isle about it in the run in question and they mentioned how close they got, and how they felt their own real life personal space was being invaded. do not be like this finn. if you want to join a run dont go up to random people that clearly do not want you there and just join a public run.
