"DIANE, WAKE UP!" someone screamed in my ear. I shot right up and saw that 'someone' was my SUPER annoying brother Draco. "You do know that there are other ways to wake people up, right?" I grumbled unhappily. "Yeah, but it's fun to annoy you." I rolled my eyes at him. "Get out." I said, pointing to the door. Draco smiled and left. I got out of bed and took my trunk out of the closet. I opened it and took out my clothes for today. Today, I was going to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Draco was coming too. I was 5 months older than him, but he acted like he was older. It wasn't mean, he would just do it sometimes. I was excited to go. We had gone to Diagon Alley a few weeks ago, and we had gotten all our stuff. Draco and I had also got to choose a pet. Draco took an owl. I desperately wanted an owl, but Mum convinced me to get a cat instead, saying "You can always borrow an owl from the school." So I had chosen a striped American Shorthair instead. After I came out of the shower, I had started to change when I heard a knock on my door. "Diane?" Mum said, "Can I come in?" "Yes, you can!" I shouted back. Mum opened the door and smiled at me. "Do you need help with anything?" "Um... Can you get my wand?" I asked as I pulled on a pair of jeans. Mum grabbed my wand and handed it to me as I put on my watch. "Thanks, mum." I said. Mum smiled, but didn't say anything. "So, excited about Hogwarts?" I nodded, but that was only because I didn't want her to know the truth. In reality, I DID NOT WANT TO GO AT ALL. I know, I know, you all are going to be like "Why don't you want to go to Hogwarts? It's soooo fun!" And yeah, it would be. For regular kids, it would be. But for me? NO WAY WOULD IT BE FUN. And that's because I have a secret. My secret is- "DIANE, WE'RE LEAVING!" Dad shouted up. Oh shoot, I gotta leave now. See you!
