Story: Snorunt has gone missing! Help Scizor save his friend in this all-new Pokemon Metroidvania! Controls (These depend on if you have the Arrow Key configuration or the WASD configuration): For the Arrow Key Configuration: - Arrow Keys to Move - Z + Left/Right to Dodge (You can't dodge when - Bullet Punch is selected) - X to Attack - C to cycle through your moves - S to open up the map For the WASD configuration: - WASD to Move - J + A/D to Dodge (You can't dodge when - Bullet Punch is selected) - K to Attack - L to cycle through your moves - I to open up the map - Not all moves work on the same pokemon! Using Super-Effective moves gives you an edge in battle - Beating a Boss grants you a password so that you can resume at any time - You can choose which controls to have in the Menu under Settings - Shiny Mode is the Hard Mode of this game. It's found under Settings too
This is a speedrun edition for Scizor's Journey. It has an autosplitter for some notable progression points. The autosplitter can be toggled to just the overall timer by pressing V. Press 1 to make the autosplitter HUD more transparent and press 2 to make the autosplitter less transparent. On the title screen you can change the route. Standard route is the route you would take during a normal playthrough of the game and the True Ending route is the route you would take to fight Phalantom at the end. Also, the intro cutscene is sped up a bit for convenience. Please comment any bugs you find with the timer so I can fix them.
