I don't have many followers on either of my most frequent platforms, but I've also noticed that my things get a lot of attention. Mostly because I have a small but dedicated following. I think it's kinda funny how there's a certain circle of people, especially on Scratch, but also on Pin, where people just like, know me. I'll see myself being shouted out in project descriptions or credited for voice-revealing ideas, and it'll almost be some sort of jumpscare. I never thought that I'd have so much influence on people. Honestly, I'm grateful to have made so many friends. To have so many people trying to say 'good morning' to me every day, and consistently check in. I don't have a lot of followers, but I know that a lot of people see my things, and I'm grateful that I've been noticed. Really, I'm just some random kid trying to do some sort of good, but it's really sweet to see people care so much. It's also honestly weird to see people go to me for advice, or credit me for things, or directly mention me to other people. I got shouted out in a vent once, I think, which was pretty surreal. It's hard for me, someone who's always kinda thought she was some background character, to realize people actually like, have started recognizing me. I feel like some sort of local celebrity, and it is strange, y'all. Especially on Pin, like, one of the most famous EPIC creators on there—they're like the number one Tiresias fan, if you're on Epic pin, you probably know Mango—is one of my friends !! And I have so many people seeing and commenting on my whispers every day, and it's so funny, but also so strange and unfamiliar. I have almost 150 followers there, and thousands of people have had my creations appear on their dashboards. Do you realize how surreal that is? I went from a relatively unknown creator on both platforms to whatever the heck this is—and I'm extremely grateful and excited in ways I can't explain, but the whiplash from going to unknown to fairly recognized within around a month is crazy. Anyway, I hope to be here for longer, to keep sharing my creations and passions, and to inspire others and help them. That's not why I joined Scratch, but it's why I've stayed. So thank you, all of you, for everything. I really, really, appreciate it. —Shimmy
