“Hury Dragonfruit, it's hatching!” Firefly said flying to the hatchery “I’m trying!” Dragonfruit said huffing and puffing “do you think it will have nightwing powers? I mean it’s hatching under three moons” “Maybe” Firefly said, focusing on flying fast to see the hatching of her egg. They touched down on the hatchery lege “GET MY EGG!” Firefly yelled at the attendant who rushed off to get the egg. A few moments later the attendant came back with an egg that was half rainwing and nightwing with the two mixing in the middle. The attendant handed the egg to Firefly. The egg wobbled in Fireflies talons trying to get out of the shell . “Imma put it down,” Firefly said reasting the egg on the planks of the floor beneath them. The egg shook and wobbled until it stopped, Firefly and Dragonfruit held their breaths then the egg cracked right near the tip. All the dragon gasped, why? Because two dragonet heads popped out the top one nightwing one rainwing “AW! “ Dragonfruit and Firefly said at the same time “I'll name the nightwing you name the rainwing” Firefly said taking the nightwing out of the egg “ the nightwing is a girl!” “And…… so is the rainwing…” Drogonfruit said looking to Firefly “Well we just-just, AH! I don’t know” Firefly said “But we still need to name them I'll name the nightwing Starlight” Firefly said with love “And I'll name the rainwing Peanut,” Drgonfruit said with confidence and nuzzled the dragonet. Then Firefly, Dragonfruit, Starlight, And Peanut hugged for the first time as a family.
