⊹ ₊ ꕤ hi luvs <3 wlcmm to the teaser of my poetry collection!! “its not goodbye, its see you later.” a poetry collection by @lovemayy 1. its not goodbye 2. rain drops on the window 3. faulty light 4. saturday night dinner 5. the clouds 6. i am a flower 7. i forgive you 8. its see you later. in april i lost my grandad to cancer and to deal with my grief i started writing poetry again. a few of the poems were written right after he passed away, some recently and some were written for this collection. the collection is going to consist of eight poems about the process and stages of grief. each poem relates to a period of time, e.g. finding out someone is going to pass, their passing, and once they’re gone. each poem is going to be released separately. starting tomorrow, one poem is going to be posted in order every day. the poems will be recorded as spoken word poetry, and the words will be in the desc of the proj. ( i was sick while recording some so if i sound stuffy that’s why <3 ) this collection is really special to me because, as i said before, writing them helped me work through my emotions when i didn’t even know what i was feeling. my heart goes out to anyone who has experienced a loss and grief. i hope my poems can help you understand your emotions on a deeper level <3 conetent warnings: if the proj has content that some might find triggering, there will be a content warning in the desc. but for now; here’s a heads up… ~ most poems discuss themes of death. ~ as a christian, some poems will have christian themes and discussion of heaven and hell. ~ some poems discuss themes of depression. i’m so excited to be sharing these with you all! and please be kind, you never know what someone is going through <3 bye luvs! ⟶ ⟶ ᵐᵃʸ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ˡᵒᵍᵍᶦⁿᵍ ᵒᶠᶠ …
