She’s never heard of lgbtq+, and she lives with her mum, dad, and older sister. Mia//age 9//cis female//straight// Mia develops the fear that all her friends are going to leave her so she starts acting more girly. Her mum starts buying her all these dresses and skirts she hates. Not to mention her parents get divorced. Mia//age 11//cis female//questioning// One of her friends, Jackie, comes out as bisexual and she starts wondering if that could be her. Mia//age 11 and 1/2//questioning//lesbian// Thinks she likes girls. While researching terms, she finds out the term ‘transgender’, and thinks she might be it for a while, but she pushes that thought to the back of her mind, convincing herself she’s a girl. Mia//age 12//ehh-?// lesbian// Gets a MASSIVE CRUSH on Jackie. Not much else happens. Joe//age 13//trans boy//straight// Mia’s sister finds her crying over a dress, and working together, they cut Mia’s hair, and come out to her parents. His parents think it’s a phase, and they are super angry at him for cutting his hair. Over time they accept him truly. TIME SKIP Joe//age 36//trans boy//straight// Joe gets married to his girlfriend, Lucy, and they adopt a little boy called Orion. Joe// age 40//trans boy//straight// Lucy d!3s. Joe is sort of depressed. Him and Orion are struggling for money, and this was Joes lowest moment. Joe//age 43//trans boy//straight// Joe gets a girlfriend, and is doing better. Life is good. He still misses his late wife, but him and Orion aren’t super sad anymore.
