Note: Please go easy on me! This is my first Zelda fanfic! Technically second, but the first one I shared on Scratch! Press the flag for some claming music! I love to listen to music when I read...so if you don't like it turn it off! I also made some Silent Princess vector art! Which took me 4ish-5ish hours! (I know it doesn't look like it, but it did) AND the fanfic! I took uh a long time to write....originally it was supposed to be out...May 17th? Uh better late then never! Apologies! Scroll down to read! Chapter 1: 10 years have passed since my mother left this world. So has the only hope…to unlock this cursed power. Ever since she passed…Father has been very distant from me and his words have been cold. He tells me that I need to stop wasting my time and dedicate it to training instead. I guess he’ll never understand me no matter how much I tell him. I’ve tried praying time and time again, but still nothing awakens within me. He also assigned a knight to assist me or I guess in other words “protect me”. This only makes things worse in my opinion. He reminds me of such a failure I am. .. he makes everything look easy. In comparison to me.. … I try so hard…no matter how much effort I put in…I still can’t awaken…it. He probably thinks I am a failure…just like everyone else. Yesterday, I yelled at him for following me. I still feel a little guilty to be honest he didn’t deserve what I said. Father was the one who appointed him to me…so it wasn’t his fault at all really. I stopped writing in my diary and closed it for now. I think I need some time alone…to clear my head, so I am going to go out with my horse, Storm. That’ll make me feel somewhat better. I ran out, grabbed my horse from the stables, and started out for the Great Plateau. It was one of my favorite places to go! Especially since a lot of Shekia technology existed there! I found some quite exciting stuff last time! The ride was quite calming…the breezy wind brushing against my hair and the sun shining down on my face finally I felt relaxed. Like all the heavy burdens that were placed upon me were gone…at least for a little while. We followed the path and there it was The Great Plateau...just in the distance. I wonder what I’m gonna find today. Maybe some frogs? Oh the possibilities are endless! Then all of a sudden Storm stopped and came to a halt. “Boy what is it?” I asked. I looked ahead only to be greeted with two average Hylians fighting right in the middle of the path. Great, looks like someone has to break up their fight. That person happened to me. I got off Storm and was about to approach them…before something tickled at my leg. I looked down…only to find a silent princess. I only saw a silent princess one other time…that time was with my mother. This brings back memories of her like she was still here. I then began to get lost in my thoughts. I then saw myself…but I was younger? I think I was about 5 years old. “Mother, mother! Look! Look! It’s a flower!” I excitedly said. “Not just any flower, my little bird….it’s called a Silent Princess. Quite a rare find…those flowers are endangered….I am surprised we came across it,” a familiar voice gently replied. Was that? My mother’s voice? Her voice was so gentle and sounded so sweet. I don’t remember if that was her voice or not. I don’t even remember her face….why couldn’t I remember her face? I stared at the Silent Princess….for ages…not wanting to look away from it. Tears streamed down from my eyes…I barely remembered anything of her. I then got back into reality…and heard the two Hylians fighting again. Both of them were middle aged. One was a woman and another a man. I quickly walked over to them. “What seems to be the problem?” They both were startled by my sudden appearance. The woman decided to talk first “Oh! We were simply just having a conversation! That’s all!” I looked at them confused and the man went on to speak next “It’s just…I was picking up some mushrooms…and was unaware that they were hers! Nothing really much of concern, your highness!” I guess they stopped fighting? “Ok then,” I sighed. That was a waste of time. I turned around and was about to walk away when the man spoke again. “What are you doing out here all by yourself, your majesty?” He quietly muttered with a sly smile on his face. Wait…something feels off…like they aren’t actually- the woman then interrupted my thoughts. “Too bad this will be the end for you,” At that moment I slowly turned around, but instead of the two Hylians that were there, Yiga were instead. Oh no. This ain’t good. Ok this is it! I ain't the best at writing, but I did my best! The second chapter will probably take a while. I won't post it til either a week or the week after. One because I WANT TO TAKE MY TIME WRITING.
THIS IS A botw based off story! (but more Zelda's ballad) AND btw...I know she saw a silent princess with a memory with Link, but that hasn't occurred yet. So that's why it was only twice.
