Hi everyone! Welcome to my July 2025 coleader app :D I thought it would be cool to explore my art journey a bit, so here’s a selection of the front pages of my sketchbooks from 2020-2023. (I’ve only completed one sketchbook since then and it was in a different place so I didn’t take a picture of it LOL) Anyways, I hope you enjoy! The mechanics are pretty simple: just click an icon to see its respective answer. Then, use space or click to move through the answer slides, and you’ll be sent right back to the main page when those are done. :) Text version of my answers: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/8553359/ If it’s not clear, I am just applying for co, not leader. :) 1. About me [ This wasn’t actually my first *ever* sketchbook, but it was around the time I got into doing traditional art regularly! I had also started drawing humans just a little bit before this. ] 2. Experience [ clearly I got a bit lazy and just did pencil here… XD this is a pretty good example of what my art used to look like. probably every drawing in this sketchbook was exactly like this. ] 3. Preferences [ First fully colored page! That pretty green marker is totally dead now, RIP. I think I used it too much drawing *just* this character. It’s a very pretty color. :) ] 4. Exerpt [ This is definitely my favorite drawing so far, and one of my favorites overall. I think I just put a lot more effort into it, with the flowers and such. It’s pretty cute, too. :D yes, this is a new version of the Loki from the first sketchbook page AND an old version of the Loki from the excerpt, fittingly! I did not do this on purpose XD ] 5. Time dedication [ Entering my lazy era, with a bunch—by which I mean two in a row, which admittedly felt like more before looked at this—of plain pencil sketches…but also entering my drawing-profile-views era! This is an old, old verson of Jasper. :0 ] 6. Time management [ I’ll withhold my opinions on this drawing since I’m celebrating my art journey, though I do have to question those construction lines. Ah well. I drew Dy-ann, who I love, so I can’t complain. :) ] 7. Collaboration & assets [ More Dy-ann! I finally got my copics out again, too. :D This one is super fun! One of my favorites for sure. ] 8. One quality [ Aesir again, I actually drew someone doing something! Really liked the idea of having the character interact with the words like in the previous one. ] 9. Cabin atmosphere [ Some of you might have seen these guys before! I love them a lot. I think Zadie is definitely the cutest here. Hugs!!! ] 10. Checkboxes [ Okay I could have sworn this was sketchbook 19 but I guess I missed that one. I don’t remember what the front page for that was. I like that I used paint, though! Even this is a bit old (what do you mean two years?!?!), sketchbooks have been taking me longer and longer. And, a new version of Loki makes an appearance! I did use a new drawing (digital this time) for the thumbnail as proof I kept drawing after this point XD ] 11. Bonus theme If you had your own Barbie-style dreamhouse, what would it look like—and what would be inside? [ Lots and lots of books! Plus reading nooks and huge windows. Probably lots of prints and knick knacks. I love built-in furniture, too. Plenty of color, like every shade ever of green and blue. :D ] I hope you all have a wonderful day!! Good luck to all applicants, I can’t wait to see what the cabin lineup looks like this session <3 Credits: Past and present hosts, leaders, cos, and campers for making SWC what it is! <3 All the leaders I’ve had the pleasure to work with or camp under for inspiring me to apply!
