I wrote the plot, I made the slides, I took the screenshots, I play Grumpledump So you can actually read it: Grumpledump: The origin story! (the Prequel to the Original) A Skittles Comedy Basic Plot: Grumpledump and his Grampydump are running through the woods and Grampydump is trying to get Grumpledump to stop being lazy and start fishing with him. In the Middle of the story Grumpledump and Grampydump are on a journey to save the woods because the Rasputin Capuchins have taken it over, at the end Grumpledump beats the capuchins in a Rasputin dance battle and the last scene leaves off where the original improv scene started. Exposition: A chorus is at the beginning. Grampydump get Grumpledump out of their tree that they live in, Grampydump tries to teach Grumpledump how to fish but Grumpledump isn't interested and is lazy. Grampydump lectures Grumpledump on not wasting his life by being lazy. Grampydump and Grumpledump receive a message from a character who I haven’t named yet, the message warns them about the Rasputin Capuchins taking over the woods. Grampydump decides that he and Grumpledump need to go save the forest. This ends the exposition. Conflict/inciting incident: The scene opens up to Grampydump and Grumpledump walking through the woods and Grampydump explains how they will stop the Rasputin Capuchins from taking over the forest. Grumpledump complains about being tired. Grampydump may or may not break out into a song I haven’t decided yet, either way it’s Grampydump lecturing Grumpledump to stop being lazy and start being active. Grumpledump stops complaining. A Capuchin steals their map, and they start chasing them. This end the Conflict/inciting incident. Rising action: The scene opens up to the Capuchin running and being chased by Grampydump while Grumpledump trails behind Grampydump. Once Grampydump catches the Capuchin he asks for the map. The Capuchin says they lost it but they agree to take us to the Rasputin Capuchins and that their name is (Carl if male and Carly if female). Carl/Carly says they need to teach Grumpledump how to Rasputin first, so that he is prepared for when he gets to the Rasputin Capuchins. Once Carl/Carly has taught Grumpledump to Rasputin they leave with Carl/Carly leading in front. This ends the Rising action. Climax: The scene opens up to the 3 characters, Carl/Carly is leading the group. Carl/Carly stops and announces that they are there and then Grampydump checks on Grumpledump to make sure he is ready to Rasputin harder than he has ever Rasputin before. Carl/Carly slips off stage. Once they turn around and don’t see Carl/Carly they are confused but head inside. Carl/Carly has a monologue on stage and is revealed to be the leader of the Rasputin Capuchins. Monologue finishes. This ends the Climax. Falling action: Grumpledump walks on stage, Grampydump is following closely behind. Carl/Carly reveals to them that he/she is the leader of the Rasputin Capuchins. Grumpledump challenges Carl/Carly to an Epic Rasputin off. Grumpledump wins and Carl/Carly accept their loss and announce that Grumpledump now owns the woods, and they will forever be known as Grumpledump woods. Carl/Carly heads off stage. This ends the falling action. Resolution: Grampydump congratulates Grumpledump and tells him he is proud of him. They both exit. Two people appear on stage and exclaim that their car is broken. Grumpledump heads onto the side of the stage. Grumpledump sees the people and yells back for Grampydump saying he found something. The scene ends. And the actor/actress that played Grampydump puts on their Grampydump mask. The actor/actress that played Carl/Carly puts on their Carl/Carly mask. Carl/Carly steps forward and takes a bow. Grampydump and Grumpledump step forward and the both bow then Grampydump bows alone, followed by Grumpledump bowing alone. Everyone takes off their masks and, everyone steps forward to bow. This ends the play.
