Just watch. General Kenobi.EXE III: Wrath of the Wraith forces its way to Scratch 6/6/25...is what I would say if I was happy with how the game was coming along, and seeing how little work has been done and how close the release date is, I unfortunately cannot meet the deadline. There are multiple reasons why this is the case. First, college has been taking up most of my time the past few months, and I have an internship coming up in June which will eat up more of my time. Second, I originally wanted to make the game a 3d platformer using my 3d platformer test project as a basis, but since that method involves multiple clones of terrain to provide the illusion of 3d, it leaves little space to put any other cloned objects in. So what will happen is that I will restart development on the project and work on little chunks of the game over the span of a few months instead of cramming a lot of work in a few weeks to meet a deadline. Speaking of which, I set a new release date for December, which I hope to reach. This way, I can spend time on my other upcoming projects such as the Super Mario Bros. Re-Brew-t series and Megalatte237 at the Movies editorials. As for the format of the game, I will do away with the 3d concept and instead make the game a hybrid of bird's-eye view and side view platforming to pay homage to the first and second game, respectively. I want to continue to push the boundaries of what I can do on Scratch, and I want my games to reflect that. While I may make a full 3d platformer game in the future, I may have to rely on a tutorial to do so, as what I have come up with is not of the highest caliber, to say the least. What I can assure you is that this game will come and will not be cancelled. I have come to the point where I have cancelled or removed too many projects to count (I have a project detailing each one if you're interested), so every project I have announced I will carry to completion, whether it takes a few weeks or a few years. Every project I make takes time and effort, and to cancel a project means that I have wasted both, and I don't want to have to cancel any more projects. I hope you understand the reasons for the delay, and I also hope to bring you a decent, fully-functional game. Until then, this is Megalatte237, signing off... Update: Since I'm back in college, I'll be working on a lot of assignments so I won't have a lot of time to work on a lot of Scratch projects, aside from a few Megalatte237 at the Movies editorials, so I'm further delaying the game to June 6, 2026 to allow myself more time for both my college work and work on this game.
