I managed to get 30 frames at the best resolution in turbowarp and 15 to 20 in scratch! WHAT IS THIS AND HOW DID I NOT KNOW ALREADY!???!??!?!??! 2/8/25 Just some refinements. Changed art and sounds. Repositioned some of the UI and refined shooting scripts. Also made it the tiniest bit smoother along the way. It used to be so laggy, but I made it faster, so you don't need to click the flag again. I did not anticipate how much faster I made it, though. LOL :P 14/8/25 I've brought the project back to scratch. I wanted only the TurboWarp version, but it made it harder for some users. So it's back here. 15/8/25 learnt the blank sprite trick to reduce lag. It was not as significant as I hoped, but I appreciate the 2 fps it gained me. I'm all out to make this run 30 fps in normal scratch. 16/8/25 updated it to make it compatible up to 60 fps 23/8/25 added a simple pause system: Press P. However it will run a bit slower now D: 24/8/25 Bug Fixes 20/9/25 logged on today and thought I would play this game given I had been working on other stuff. My computer decided to run really fast and I was getting 40 fps in normal scratch. 5 minutes later its back to around 20-25 21/9/25 a recent speed update to both scratch and TurboWarp has allowed me to finally add my title screen!! Its not done yet but to me it makes the game feel more polished. For me it finally runs at around 30 frames per second. I thought I would stop here but i have to finish the title screen, update a lot and expect to get a lot faster!!! Future update ideas: Adding depth and height levels, like staircases and multi-levels Multiplayer mode? I'm still trying to improve it for those on mobile, but it is about as good as I can get it for the time being. I think I will watch the Griffpatch multi-touch mobile to allow mobile users to jump or pause the game. I will also try and add a backstory thing but idk. Let me know your thoughts. @griffpatch for some of his tutorials. I couldn't have put sprites, textures or the basic 3d in without you. However I added shooting a much faster way to run it and drew all the enemy costumes.
