so as some of you may know, I'm preparing for olympiads which are coming up on Saturday. I don't want to do it this year because my mom is threatening to beat me up (BADLY) if I don't get a gold medal. like bro half the math syllabus wasn't even taught in my school ! I have a history of headaches and I've been having some for the past few weeks. when I told my mom, she applied something, gave medicine and told me to sleep. so far, so good. but the moment I got up (after 15 mins btw) she forced me to attempt the online mock tests and solve two freaking papers. this has been going on for a week. She's like " fRoM cLaSs 6 It'S sErIoUs bUsInEsS and you'll learn where you stand, you don't even have a tution teacher when everyone does " but she forgot that I got straight A's mostly on my own. She just marks a million questions for me to solve and expects me to make it look like Da Vinci's artwork (neatness btw) + get EVEYTHING CORRECT. like our math teacher in school has always taught chemistry but for some reason she started teaching math as well. and just my luck- she's my math teacher. in other sections they were doing addition in algebra while we were stuck with PLAYING WITH NUMBERS. yeah. and when I don't understand algebra, my mom yells at me and threatens more beatings. she's even chased me with a metal ruler, bro. and my dad and grndparents just stand watching. she once even kept my school bag onto the terrace and almost threw it off the railing. my supposed 'friends' in school called me 'mean' and 'bad' bc there's this girl in my friend group who starts crying whenever the game isn't of her choice or she doesn't win at something. people expect me to 'cater to her needs' like WHAT THE H3CK ??? that takes a toll on my mental health and I came home crying and then my mom had to call their moms and yk what THEY said? they claimed that their daughters are always worried that I will start a fight and break up the group. so yeah. I'm also expected to finish every chapter in each olympiad textbook in one day. so I gtg, or I'll be told that I'm a failure arnd ruined a certain person's life. bye.
