Also… uh… she reminds me of Rain world hehe… Name: ribbon Age: 30 Prounouns: she/they, AFAB sexuality: aroace Job: bounty hunter Personality: smart, greedy, rude Backstory: Ribbon had grown up in a wealthy family. She had all the resources she needed at her fingertips, and attended a very prestigious academy where she learned everything she could possibly need. She was a straight A’s student, a perfect record to get into her dream career of medicine. After many years of schooling, she registered to a university. One day, she was sitting by the fire, sketching a big she had found, when she heard knocking on the door. She went to go check who it was, but when she opened the door she did not recognize who it was. The figure was around her height, and wore a worn down looking suit. “How may I help you?” Ribbon asked. The man sighed. “I’m sorry to inform you… that your parents have died in a tragic accident.”. Ribbon’s heart dropped. She couldn’t believe it. Around a week later, she and her younger sister met in her mother’s lawer’s office. They were there to distribute the will. Her sister, silk, had always been the family favorite. Although her grades weren’t very impressive, she was beautiful, funny, and very charming. They were sent home with the will, and when they opened it ribbons heart stopped. There was one name on the paper. Silk swordwood. This was probably the worst day of ribbons life. Did her parents seriously leave her with nothing?! Her sister, on the other hand, was overjoyed. Ribbon couldn’t blame her. Out of pity, silk let ribbon stay at her house while she got her stuff together. Ribbon had to leave a lot behind, she probably wouldn’t have anywhere to put it. The day she was ready to leave, she noticed something. It was a shiny white letter with a fancy red seal, and it was addressed to her. She opened it, and to her surprise, she had been accepted into the university!! She was overjoyed, but then realized something. This school had a large fee to get in, in which her parents had agreed to pay. But they were gone, and she had no doubt her sister wouldn’t give her a single penny. Ribbon needed a job, and fast. Ribbon was out in town square. Anything that could pay for the academy would work. But one by one, everybody turned her down. At the end of the day, all hope was lost. But then, she noticed something. It was a poster on a bulletin board, with a picture of a cloaked being. Underneath it it said “sparrow hazelleaf. reward: 1000 silver.”. 1000 silver? That could pay for food and a place to live for 2 months! Maybe even her college after she got her necessities. It was an amazing deal, but there was one problem. How was she going to find her? after searching through the woods for over a week, she had no luck. Might as well just give up. But when she walked into market square, she heard some one yelling “thief!!”. She saw the figure bolt, carrying a pouch of coins. Ribbon ran after them, everyone watching. Suddenly, the thief tripped on the pavement. Everyone in town square applauded. The shop owner looked to ribbon. “I can’t believe it! You caught the thief that has been stealing from me for months! Here’s your reward, as promised.”. The shopkeeper presented a shiny gold coin, worth a thousand silver, to Ribbon. She stared in awe. She had never seen anything so magnificent. Ribbon exited the square, impressed with herself. But just as she was leaving, a woman walked up to her. “Uh, ma’am? Do you do bounties?” She asked. Ribbon looked down at the lady. She had never considered this being her job.”uh… yes. Yes I do.” Ribbon said. After a many years, ribbon still worked as a bounty hunter. She finally raised enough money to buy a place to live, and even though she can afford her college, the dream just felt to distant to achieve. She had already been happy in life, why leave everything you have earned to go chase after the unknown? One day, she heard a knock on her door. She reluctantly opened it, and found a mysterious figure concealed by a black cloak. “Are you accepting bounties?” She asked. Her voice was rather familiar. “Yes. What do you need?” Ribbon asked. “There’s this cat named Luna. She lives in a small village called umberhelm. Bring her back to me for 10000 silver.” The cat said plainly. Ribbon accepted, obviously. “Where can I find you once I bring her back?” Ribbon asked. “You’ll know where to find me.”. Then, the cat walked away. That’s what I got so far! I’d be overjoyed if I got the character, she’s so dang pretty and will fit perfectly into my oc lore!!
