I lived with my master for just about two years. (Fourteen In dog years) My owner was a little bit rough and I was left home alone for most of the day, but I never thought that I was nothing but a tool to them. One night, the night that it all began, I was outside in my old rickety monster of a dog house when my owner came out of his house with a strange looking bendy stick and a scary collar. They walked up to me and put a weird strap around my muzzle. I whimpered, but then he hit me with the weird stick thing. It really hurt! Then he put on a weird looking collar that felt extremely tight. It sort of looked like black spiky vines. And it really hurt. He led (dragged) me out to his pickup truck and hauled me into the back of it. I normally love car rides, but this one was weird. I felt the car stop and saw a large barn with the doors wide open. I heard other dogs inside. My owner led me inside where I saw the most horrible thing ever; A big snarling dog looming over a little golden dog. A loud voice boomed through weird holey boxes. "AAAND ROCK WINS!" The dogs were cleared out of a small arena. The small golden dog was dragged away and was set down on the ground. My owner gave me a hard tug and led me onto the arena. There was another dog there too. The big holey boxes boomed again. "FIGHTT!!!" The other dog jumped up on top of me and bit my leg. I yelped but then my owner hit me with the weird stick thing again so I pushed the other dog off of me. I cowered In a small corner of the arena and kept getting hit with the weird stick thing. The other dog pounced onto me and bit my chest. I knew that that was the end for me then.
