Flappy bird clone Part of my INTL Design formative assessment. Tap or press the spacebar to make the bird flap its wings and fly upwards, while a continuous force of gravity pulls it down. Flappy Bird was invented by Dong Nguyen, a Vietnamese developer and programmer, under his game studio, dotGears. He released the popular mobile game on May 24, 2013. Flappy Bird is a mobile arcade game in which players tap the screen to make the bird "Flappy" flap its wings and fly through gaps in green pipes. The game features simple, retro-style graphics and requires precise timing to navigate the bird's persistent descent. If the bird hits a pipe or the ground, the game ends.
