(Note: The REAL INSTRUCTIONS are... well, how this works, more accurately, is like this: Once you click 'Next', you'll see buttons. Each button leads to hearing a different background music you can change. Basically, it leads to... a soundboard. All music tracks that I used are listed in the Notes and Credits >:D) So all you expect is some amazing, polished work. Some flawless, smooth animation. Some perfectly coded-out game. What no one dares to touch on is all of the sweat, tears and fiery temper that comes with each meticulously structured script of code, just for you to realize that... it all goes awry because of ONE of the smallest bugs. No one ever wants to talk about how difficult trying to structure the code is. The intentional error I made? Making the cursor react kind of laggily. I'm just so done with striving for perfection with the small stuff.
This is the fruition of several hours staring at my previous projects and having absolutely no idea what to make my Computer Science Scratch Review project on. Then, I thought, in a moment of PURE rage... 'Why not just make a project that shows how DIFFICULT making a Scratch project actually is?' Or, later on, 'Why not make a soundboard?!? THIS IS GETTING TOO CONFUSING!!!' Sounds like breaking the fourth wall, but guess what? The rebel named @13aalavender made it possible. So I happily give myself credit for the ideas, for the sprites, the backdrop, the efforts, the tears, the sweats, the headaches, and literally every other affiliated thing that may or may not have a negative connotation. Also, do not point out my grammatical inconsistencies, word errors, or whatever else you may or may not notice I have made, because I probably didn't notice, either. I wrote this out of a place of rage for not having ANY ideas whatsoever for my Scratch Review Project, so instead, be struck with awe at how I wrote all of this up to here in under three minutes. All the stuff I owe credit to myself for: - Every single sprite in this project. Even the cursor. - The backdrop I drew on Kleki. - The final boss background music I composed and played - The other tracks of music I also composed - The conceptual factors of this entire project If you'd like to use any of my sprites, backdrops or sounds, please give me credit! :) The only thing I owe Scratch for is the Marker and Pixelate font. Here's the list of names for all of the soundtracks I made and give myself credit for using (please ask me for permission and give me credit for using any music!): - Behind the Scenes (AKA the Final Boss Music, the default music track that plays when you click the green flag) - The Strings of Life (This composition is over two years old and is just amazing all throughout) - Video Game Music Sampling (Horrible name, music sounds awesome. This is just the name I gave this music when I composed the entire thing in less than thirty minutes.)
