Unlike Daylight, Nightshade prefers being out at night bc the bright sunlight blinds her even further than her condition does. Eats catmint at sunrise so she can sunbathe undisturbed during the day while sleeping. Skills: hunting and finding herbs with little trouble (at night only, because the light reflected off the moon isn't bright enough to affect her. She is also somewhat unbothered by the occasional porch light, which she might find while getting catmint near the houses.) Personality and behavior: is much more accepting of other species than the other cats in her clan. Traits: bilateral aniridia (the absence of irises in both eyes); melanism; sometimes makes casts using cobwebs; restocks the clan's herb shelves and hunts for the clan (at night only, because that is when she is better able to find things without being blinded since there is less light.). Unlike a lot of other cats, clan members or not, Nightshade can feel when another cat is dying, especially if it's another member of her clan, and she goes into extreme (but not life-threatening) pain if more than one is dying on the same day. She is even vulnerable to this when she's nowhere near any of the camps.
