idk how i won the remix comp for this ngl people did so well. Also the cover arts fade between the "official" cover art for all the remixes and the one I made myself so that's what it's doing. Anyway listen to Devoid by Wrenixa, just look it up Finally made a style that I've been wanting to for FOREVER. I've finally gotten a hang of the sound though so I felt like making it would go pretty well, and it definitely did! Very inspired by one of my long-time favorite artists, R3V. About the remix itself, I forgot where exactly I heard about the remix contest, but I then proceeded to listen to the album that Devoid was in and like dang it was actually really good. So of course I just had to participate in the remix contest! I tried to kind of amplify the dynamics of the song, just making a whole lot of contrast between huge and tiny sounds.
