F̲i̲r̲e̲ Fire elementals have the ability to summon and manipulate flames. Often times cats of this element will have individual flame colors, like blue or yellow, which can be determined by the heat of their flame and their heritage. Pure firecats are known to have short, thick pelts and tough skin that are more tolerant to heat (not resistent) E̲a̲r̲t̲h̲ Earth elementals are wielders of dirt, rock, and sometimes few varieties of plant life (see: nature element). Unlike most other elementals, who can summon and manipulate their elements, earthcats use telekinesis-like powers to influence existing chunks of land. Pure earthcats are known to have different seasonal pelts; their fur becomes thicker and longer during the cold months, and shorter and thinner during the summer. It's also common for them to be physically smaller. W̲a̲t̲e̲r̲ Water elementals are able to summon and manipulate water. Like fire elementals, some cats have a certain tinge to their elemental powers, like green or purple, based on the wielders heritage. Watercats are known to be deep-chested and can hold their breath for longer periods of time. Pure water elementals have been known to have webbed toes and brills over their eyes; a thin, transparent sheet that keeps water out. W̲i̲n̲d̲ Wind elementals are able to summon and manipulate wind currents. They are known to have thin, lithe bodies made for high speeds, and sharp claws for climbing. I̲c̲e̲ Ice elementals have the abilities to control and manipulating ice. The temperature of their element greatly varies by the powers of their parents and relatives; for example, some icecats have more of a slush or snow-like element. Icecats are known to have thick, plush pelts that are often light-colored to camouflage in snow. Some are able to somewhat manipulate their own body temperature, allowing them to swim in colder temperature waters. E̲l̲e̲c̲t̲r̲i̲c̲i̲t̲y̲ Electricity elementals are able to summon and manipulate electrical currents. Like fire and water, most electricitycats have their own unique element color, often varying from purple to yellow. Electricity elementals are known to have short, thick pelts like firecats and lithe bodies with sharp claws like windcats. N̲a̲t̲u̲r̲e̲ Nature elementals, similarly but unlike earth elementals, are wielders of all living plant life. Often times, nature elementals will specialize in a certain category, such as manipulating vines to grow or controlling the growth rate of flowers and herbs. Nature elementals are physically similar to earthcats; seasonal pelts with small, thick bodies and sharp claws. S̲m̲o̲k̲e̲ Smoke elementals can summon and manipulate smoke. Based on their heritage, some smokecats have been known to produce sparks and embers in their element, or even small bursts of flame. Smoke elementals have wiry bodies and powerful claws like windcats and short, thick pelts with heat-tolerant skin like firecats. S̲a̲n̲d̲ Sand elementals have the ability to create and manipulate sand. Not very commonly, some sandcats are known to have different forms of sand, like silica and black sand. Sand elementals also have similar physical appearances to wind and earthcats, with sharp claws and small but well-muscled bodies. M̲i̲s̲t̲ Mist elementals have the ability to summon and manipulate mist. Some other forms of this element are steam and cloud, which can be achieved with different element combinations. Mist elementals often have a watercat-like appearance, with deep chests and sometimes brilles over their eyes. O̲r̲e̲ Ore elementals are able to summon and manipulate different forms of rock and gems. Cats with this element are able to easily sense and find various gems and minerals native to Katana Lake, such as painite and amber. Ore elementals, like earthcats, have heavy bodies with seasonal pelts and sharp claws. A̲c̲i̲d̲ Acid elementals are able to summon, control, and manipulate different toxic chemicals. Like nature and ore, the acid element is a spectrum, with a cat being born with a specific specialty based on their heritage. Some forms of acid include a burning mist-like or liquid substance, or toxins that can be released into the air to spread sickness. Acid elementals bear resemblance to watercats, with powerful lungs and brilles over their eyes.
S̲t̲o̲r̲m̲ The storm element has two definitions. Stormcats who are hybrids of cloud and electricitycats are known as pure storm or thunderstormcats, with the ability to control and manipulate “storm clouds”. They are able to summon black clouds and manipulate small bouts of weather, like lightning, rain, and in very rare cases where the cat in question is related to an icecat, snow. Stormcats that are the offspring of a wind and icecat are known as blizzard elementals, with basically a form of blizzard abilities where they have more control over wind than snow, but the frigid temperature of their elemental powers are jarring. Blizzard and pure stormcats often have similar body types with water and windcats, sharing their deep chests, brilled eyes, and sharp claws. G̲l̲a̲s̲s̲ Glass elementals have the ability to summon, control, and manipulate natural sea glass. It is a difficult element to find naturally without specifically breeding for it, and an even harder element to master. Glass elementals have firecat-like traits, with thick, short pelts and a slight tolerance to heat. Some glass elementals, although it is very rare, are able to tap into weak fire powers, though this wouldn’t be anything harmful and would certainly be something they aren’t able to consciously control.
