name: keith reyes ☆ age: 17-25 (depending on rp) ☆ birthday: 07/01/07 ☆ he/him, cishet male ☆ ethnicity: both his biological parents are american, but his mom remarried a spanish man (hence his last name). ☆ languages: english, some spanish. ☆ appearance: his eyes and hair are both brown, almost reminiscent of dark chocolate (his favorite!). he has a slight build from playing volleyball, but otherwise keeps himself lean. as he grew up, his facial features got a lot more sharp. his hair is naturally a little curly. he spends a lot of time in the morning messing with his hair. according to his mom, he takes after his father. fc is joshua weyerhaeuser. ☆ outfit: he wears these black studs he got as a dare when he was 15. his volleyball teammates like to exchange friendship bracelets with each other as a joke, and he always has at least one on. his volleyball fit (a tank and some shorts) is black with the number 71 on it. he’s a total sneakerhead, with at least seven pairs he wears on rotation. at home, he wears a black fitted tee and spiderman pajama pants. at school he switches to gray sweatpants or baggy washed out jeans. he has a collection of obscure band T-shirts (all of which he gatekeeps dearly). even when it’s cold he doesn't wear a jacket. he cares for his electric guitar almost as much as his own appearance. it’s black with dashes of yellow lightning bolts, and a weird doodle of a cat made by his little sister. ☆ voice claim: ashton fox (fantastic mr. fox) ☆ height: 5’11 (6’ if anyone asks) ☆ personality: when embarrassed, keith’s ears tend to get red…followed by the rest of his face. he’s not good at masking his emotions. he played the acoustic guitar for 3 years (starting at 10 y.o.) before switching to electric thinking it was way cooler. he plays frequently (to his parents’ distaste) and almost /always/ has his guitar pick in hand. similarly, he loves volleyball. it’s how he met his friend group. he has a very selective taste in music, like a lot of shoegaze and underground bands. he loves gift-giving and tends to spoil his friends. he has a really hard time confronting people. keith is /stubborn/, like if you don't agree with him he will keep a grudge. this goes along with how competitive he is. it could be a board game or the volleyball championships, but he does /not/ go easy on anyone (unless it’s his sister). he can’t cook, but the guy has an /insane/ appetite. like, he’ll eat anything edible. he doesn't discriminate. he’s overprotective of his sister, who’s nine years younger than him. he’s a bit of a hothead, and has a hard time keeping calm under pressure. he has two friend groups (one for volleyball and the other for his band). he likes being with both, but it’s hard balancing his time between them. he’s not the best student (especially at spanish). but he hates asking others for help, and would rather stare at his paper instead. he’s kind of codependent and hates doing things on his own. when his friends he can do literally anything, no matter the degree of embarrassment, but without them he’s pretty vulnerable. he hates being alone. definitely an extrovert. ☆ backstory: his mom and dad growing up never got along. his dad just wasn’t cut out to, well, /be a dad/. when he was eight his mom remarried. a year later he got his half-sister, catalina, or cat for short. he loves cat and his stepdad, and could care less about his biological dad, who he hasn’t heard from since. he just wants to see his mom happy.
