The only two words she says. “Me too, I really didn’t watch where I was going.” Then I see her eyes, and, oh god, she’s fabulous. Drop dead gorgeous. My heart starts hammering in my chest like an actual hammer. She walks away, and I’m left watching her, wondering who she is. I see her in my PE class, sitting alone in the corner. A girl who is really tall walks over to her and yells, “Hey Nhi! I missed you this summer!” Nhi, that’s her name. A beautiful name for a beautiful girl, I catch myself saying. Nhi looks away, clearly embarrassed. I’m left daydreaming about her. I want to know everything about her. I like her, though I just know her.
