//|| Forward ||\\ Welcome to Bountiful Basket, Sabulo’s first litter!! This litter is actually a sort of late birthday present to myself (I originally rolled for the first time for these guys on the 12th lol, which was my birthday), and I’m so excited to finally share them with the world!! They may be normal cats, but with @t1red- and @dxskhuskii help I tried to give every kitten a little unique twist :D Also, as my late birthday kittens, all of these little lovelies come with unique birthday themed accessories!! I hope you all enjoy these little apple kittens and consider taking the time to apply <3 //|| The Parent ||\\ // Sabulo \\ // AFAB, They/Them \\ // Ma, Mama, Mater, \\ // @Shy_Pj \\ Sabulo has never imagined themself as a parent, never really considered if they would ever have kittens of their own in the moons that have passed since they lost their own mother. With the recent news of both of their littermates having passed, the thought of raising kits was even more distant and out of their mind. Roaming the barrens, kits are not something one often considers they might find. Yet, as they were looking for a den to sleep within for a night, they came across a familiar sight that they had known too well. A little pile of what they came to realize was four kittens, tucked deep within a burrow, covered in dust and clearly abandoned. They had planned to leave them, truly, to turn tail and run, but one of the kitten’s lifted their tired little head and mewed out at their presence before they could. And from then, Sabulo could not force themself to leave these poor kittens to suffer a fate worse than what their own had been. As a parent, Sabulo acts more akin to an older sibling than a true parent. They are still exceptionally young and inexperienced when it comes to dealing with younger cats, but try their best to raise their kits properly. They tend to focus on teaching their kits how to properly survive out in the barrens, though with a noticeably softer touch than they might treat other cats. They tend not to scold their kits if they can help, leaning more to positive reinforcement if they can. Sabulo is not the most emotive cat and doesn’t outwardly express themself much, but their kits can always come to them for an ear to listen when they need (litter c0d3w0rb 2 is dune). They will teach their kittens to follow a more nocturnal schedule like they do, and once the kits are a bit older begin to move across the barrens with them. They also will teach their kits speak some Sand Cat (aka Latin) //|| The Kits ||\\ Red | Rubrum AMAB 12 inches 2 moons Dried Grass Birthday Ribbon Accessory || Amber Gene (Black Amber Tabby) + Vitiligo Research || Firstly, we have Red! Bearing vibrant and piercing orange-red eyes, he almost always walks bearing a mischievous glint and some swagger in his snaggle toothed smile. His pelt stand out against his siblings, bearing a dark mix of rich blacks and faded gray with a few accented stripes and swirls. It is as he ages though, that this kitten's beauty begins to shine. As the moons slowly march by, his back begins to bloom with a hue of orange similar to his eyes, that slowly spreads until it nearly consumes all the darkness of his pelt. By his adolescence, he bears a complexion of fiery orange, apricot, and soft cream only accented by the dark colors of his kithood. Even stranger, by the time of his adulthood, a splotchy and sporadic white begins to consume his pelt as well, leeching all color in its path and leaving snowy white in it's place. By the time he is grown, he is unrecognizable to the kitten he once was. A shyer kitten, who almost always seems to have a more pensive expression about her concerned sage eyes. While her fur gently drapes over part of her face, the the side which she leaves exposed bears quite the oddity, a second pupil within her iris. Her fluffy coat is graced with a mix of comforting and homey browns and creams. Her chest is graced with a dark splotch reminiscent of a heart, the rest of her being covered in splotches and swirls as if she was dusted with cinnamon and sugar. ( designed by )
