ehehehe i love self promo so if you want to check out any of my other works go to my profile, or if you want to check out any of my newer works go to my new account where i post it all @pxrpleskiesxx :3 1. Q: What got you interested in writing? A: books LOL 2. Q: Did you always like writing? A: yesss ever since I was like 7 or 8 (although at that time it was more picture books ) 3: Q: What is the story that has just been sitting around in your brain, waiting to come to life? Is it just a vague idea that catches your heart, or is it already an elaborate story? A: er both??? I'm writing it rn 4. Q: What makes a story catch your heart? A: if 1) the main character is likeable 2) the plot is plotting 3) if I like the genres and 4) if there's a romantic plot/subplot the MMC has to be LIKEABLE 5. Q: Do you think that there's a pattern that all good stories follow, or are they all different? A: both in a way cus like the themes and characters and plot are different but they all follow on of the 7 basic story outline things 6. Q: Did you ever cry over your own writing? Laugh over it? Shiver over it? A: no. T^T 7. Q: What do you despise in stories? A: an unlikeable protagonist (*cough cough*--bella swan--*cough cough*) 8. Q: What makes a story bad (in your opinion)? A: like the previous, an unlikable protagonist. also shallow themes, plot holes, stuff that doesn't make sense, when the author adds in things that are clever at first but then do it so much it just feels like flexing their brain power especially when it doesn't make sense 9. Q: Which is more important in a story: emotional depth, or an interesting plot? A: I would say both but I cant so uhhh emotional depth since technically you can have a story without an interesting plot since emotional depth is more important and cus emotional depth is sorta what moves the story along so even if the plot wasn't all that interesting at least the emotions were interesting. (+ if you have an interesting plot w/out emotional depth then all the characters' actions are gonna feel shallow and like its only there to keep the plot moving) 10. Q: Is there a specific thing your stories tend to center around? (Ex: setting, personality of character, genre, etc.) A: yesss for genre its like **ALWAYS** YA fantasy or romance or romantasy 11. Q: Do you plan to become an author someday? A: yeah probably maybe if I don't get distracted by some other shiny job smh 12. Q: If so, how do you think authors can influence the world for good by their writing? A: good morals/themes and stuff, make readers realize something profound, etc. 13. Q: What are your favorite themes (morals or messages) in stories? A: identity and stuff, maybe like you can rewrite fate ahh type of stuff, etc. (idk I suck at theme when trying to dissect them why are you asking me this last time I did this was last year in ELA and I was crashing out T.T) 14. Q: What are the cliches you hate the most? A: "sHe waS noT LikE oTHEr giRLSSSssS" like bella are you sure cus all the other girls are also saying this-- and also "stalker x normal ahh human" 15. Q: Is there a way to make those cliches not so bad? Do you think you could do it if you set out to try? A: if they don't ACTIVELY SAY IT THEN IT CAN BE OK, or if like its the "I'm the chosen one/ has magical powers no one else has so I'm special" type of thing. but PLEASE DONT ACTUALLY HAVE SOMEONE SAY THAT UNLESS ITS SATIRE. but for the stalker x normal human NO PLEASE EW GET IT AWAY FROM ME TwT (i feel like i could make the first one work but not the second one) 16. Q: What is the genre you hate the most? A: "dark" romance when the tropes are just rlly disgusting and lwk illegal at that point-- 17. Q: What if you tried to write it? What would happen? A: oh hell nah id get beat up by my friends and id prolly punch myself too--- 18. Q: What makes a character lovable? A: GOOD INTERNAL CONFLICT!! (and also being an active not passive character at least a few times) 19. Q: Is it possible for a non-lovable character to make you care deeply about them? A: yes if their motivations and stuff are relatable and stuff (my brain is fried I'm sorry for the weird explanations) 20. Q: How can you make your story touch your reader and impact their life? A: idk dawg I'm not my reader ;-; Music by
