Post WW3+Civil war+Combine America can only be described in one word: "HELL" unless a greater word exists out there....... Rival warlords, gangs, & attempted countries all battle each other. With territorial claims changing each day(mostly between the warlords & gangs). Several lunatic warlords have gotten their hands on much of the US's old weapons, including much of their nuclear arsenal...... The constant wars create pain & suffering beyond imagination, & in this chaotic & hopeless wasteland...... The Dominion, the "American nightmare" is trying all that it can to restore the brief stability enjoyed during Combine occupation, & to get revenge on China & the communist...... AT ALL COSTS- An elaborate Dominion spy & espionage network has been propped up across the war torn continent, as the Dominion's agents deploy all kinds of tricks, from posing as US agents when captured to stir anti US sentiment, to giving weapons to both sides of a conflict. Lobbying in small republics & democracies to support the Dominion's interests, & to maintain the burning hatred towards the Chinese invaders so many Americans feel...... 24/7, propaganda radio stations broadcast Dominion ideals across the continent. Along with anti-communist/Chinese propaganda, & pro Combine propaganda. Along with showing off how good life in the Dominion is, how you don't have to fight tooth & nail for a meal, & can raise your family in peace. To experience true liberty from the hardships of post USA life. Dominion agents have become feared across the wasteland. For they are most brutal in their methods of getting what they want..... The Dominion has its own anti-espionage systems as well. But with the Dominion's entire population growing up in a military collective. From birth to death, knowing nothing but loyalty & comradeship to their fellow Dominioners....... This naturally means they are resistant to outside propaganda, & are more then willing to undergo extreme torture & die before spilling any beans, especially after a lifetime of training for these kinds of situations.....
The Dominion is now the "shadow state", with its arm stretched far in North American affairs, & its extreme secrecy from within its own borders & deep within the rocky mountains....... But North America is only the first stepping stone, plans are already underway to "stretch the arm of the American nightmare globally".....
