Note: this infection is canon to my universe, this takes place 4 years before Newfound family and 2 years before Lilac’s fate How it started Crimson was experimenting with parasitic worms and the night howler plant. She did it for unknown reasons, but she ended up creating a hybrid between the two. She left her lab and left the hybrid worms in her lab. Blaze went into crimson’s lab and in a move to punish herself she drank the concoction not realizing the consequences of what her actions would cause. After it was over Blaze took the fall for Crimson's actions, by saying SHE created the infection. Blaze got punished, and Crimson walked away without punishment.
