{ please read the content warnings in the instructions } “faulty light” ⊹ ₊ ꕤ ʷᵒʳᵈˢ ꕤ ₊ ⊹ my light flickers and faults. death has branded the wound of grief on my skin. you were like a dandelion, too easily blown away by the wind. yet, you still blew your birthday candles out, i guess, a win is a win. maybe if my light had stayed on, you would still be here. maybe you would’ve had something to hold on to. you know, it’s really my fault. i let my light flicker, i let it go out. and now the darkness that consumes my mind had started to escape out my eyes and into you heart, into your blood. i don’t know what i could’ve done to contain it inside. i guess this is all blamed on my faulty light… ︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶︶ ⊹ ₊ ꕤ ᵇᵃᶜᵏˢᵗᵒʳʸ ꕤ ₊ ⊹ this poem represents the guilt someone can feel after a death. it specifically touches on losing hope and then that being the reason a person finally lets go. not much to say, except it is never your fault. i love you, and they still love you <3 you are seen.
