So... It has now been almost a year since my last project... maybe this'll be a tradition ;-; Let’s get right into it!! Click, space, or arrow keys-- whatever suits your fancy :) —TABLE OF CONTENTS— 1. Art Dump 2. Updates!! —books I’ve read —other updates 3. Credits 1 —ART DUMP— So, this is quite a long one… 1. Scar from the Lion King. Saw it on tour, 1000% recommend. Got a selfie with him after, really nice guy. 2. Zazu from the Lion King. Best character. Got a selfie with him too— he was about 15 years younger than I thought he’d be lol 3. Virgil (from Dante’s Inferno) being a dad, with citations to prove it. He is dad, Dante is baby. It’s the best thing ever. 4. First draft of an OC design (the story is based on a literal ART TECHNIQUE bc I’m a NERD) 5-6. Closeups of each of the previous characters— their designs have greatly evolved since then lol 7. Another character from the same story 8. Hermes from EPIC: The Musical (GUYS IT’S SO GOOD, IT’S MY FAVORITE THING RN) 9. Another Hermes 10. A scene from the Inferno (drawn for a class assignment in English class lol) 11. Another class assignment, this time for AP Comp Sci— we had to make an image by typing out the binary for the colors, so this is what I did, and I think it turned out nicely. 12. Study of one of Salvador Dali’s Divina Commedia illustrations— also for an English assignment 13. More OCs!! (Top left: Mathilde, top right: Albatross, bottom left: Anchor, middle: Lola May) 14. MORE OCs!!!!!! (Left: Bella, right: Demi) 15. Aeneas as seen in the Aeneid featuring Aeneas as Aeneas 16. Another OC (Weatherby) 17. Hermes again (drawn in celebration of the Vengeance Saga) 18. Even more OCs! (Top left: Stallford, top right: Victoria, bottom left: Diane, bottom right: Martin, middle: Corbie) drawn on a sticky note ;-; 19. Same OCs as before, minus Martin (they can shapeshift) if you can guess which is which you get a free invisible gummy worm. Also drawn on a sticky note... 20. Another OC from the same story (Dr Elliot) ALSO drawn on-- you guessed it-- a sticky note. 21. Hermes from EPIC swapped with Hermes from Hadestown 22. Idk what this is but it’s cute, so into the art dump it goes 23. Rodya from Crime and Punishment (sticky note) 24. Rodya from Crime and Punishment but make it Tim Burton (sticky note) You made it halfway through the art dump. Congratulations! 25. Six of Crows doodle 26. Kaz (from Six of Crows) meets Mary Poppins (haha. comedy) 27. Kaz again 28. Rodya questions his complex human nature 29-30. Storytime! I was making an animatic of Rodya singing “Man or Muppet” bc it was funny and tbh it matches his character perfectly and I was halfway through when lo and behold, my computer decided to take the day off. When I got it back on, the whole animatic was gone. Luckily, I got these photos before they were lost to the abyss! 31. Erik from Phantom of the Opera and the Creature from Frankenstein, because they would be best friends and commit arson together, prove me wrong, I will die on this hill, have a nice day. (sticky noteeee) 32. Old OC from Against the Galaxy (he’s retired, I only drew him cuz a friend wanted to see) 33. Another retired OC— bet you never thought you’d see Kari again, huh? 34. A jester, drawn for English class 35. OC design (guys it’s so baddd) 36. Same OC but close up bc I needed a profile pic of him (me shading this: hmm yes topography) 37. St Raphael and Tobias (drawn in the middle of the night in Florence) 38. Remember that OC from ages ago? The one based on the art technique? Look how he’s grown!! Quote is from “Into the Unknown” from Over the Garden Wall. Paper is of sticky note variety. 39. We are all God’s beloved <3 40. Funni Thrawn haha 41. Prodigal Son 42. Funni Aeneas and Dido haha 43. Sylvester with a friend’s OC (we’re in a DnD campaign) I had run out of sticky notes by this point, so this one is actually a note card 44. Study of “Woman in a Blue Mantle” 45. Study of “Midshipman Augustus Brine” 46. Gregor Mendel (painted in Biology class lol) 47. Yet another OC design 48. Redesign of Martin from earlier I invite you to take your best guesses as to the stories of these OCs, tell me in the comments :D
