Anne's Manager Application - About me - Hello, I'm Anne or Split. I use it/sour/snap pronouns, and I'm demigenderfluid. I'm also aroaceflux, regromantic, bisexual, and lesbian. I've been a part of the gaehive a lot more in the past ~two months, but I've mostly been on since January and originally joined in October or so. I originally joined Scratch five years ago on @CatieCowie. I'm in the CST timezone. I also have lots of experience in studios like the Gaehive from being a former GWDFIer for a few years. - Why I would be a good manager - - I have the rules fairly memorized, and kindly remind people of them when they break one. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt when it comes to rules they break, as lots of people who break them simply haven't learned them all yet or are new and haven't gotten to read them. - I don't get triggered easily online, and typically try to stay as calm as I can in situations. - I'm online very often, as I typically don't have much to do in a day. - Downsides to me being a manager - - I'm young, and thus still fairly immature. - I am often not in the best state of mind, however, I do try not to vent or break rule 14. - I use a lot of different accounts, typically because of my alterhumanity, specifically kinshifts. The accounts I use are: @ETERNALSUGARCOOKlE, @AGENTElGHT, @GOOBlEST, @REDCARPETSTAR, and @caIlamari. Though I do use these accounts now, if I were to be manager, I would most likely stick to just my current one (@anemoia-). - I feel as though I'm often rude or passive aggressive. I am trying to change that however. - Unique things I could bring to being a manager - - I'm an alterhuman (specifically a therian, fictionkin, objectkin, and constelic), and I haven't seen really any alterhuman managers. I could inform the Hive about alterhumanity and my personal experiences with it, and there are also a lot of other alterhumans on the hive as well. - I would switch out thumbnails more often, and give the spotlight to ones that haven't really been used. - What I would improve about Gaehive - - I rarely see positive karma being rewarded, only negative karma from rule breaking and the like. I could count more positive karma from things like euphoria, positivity, comfort, and spam, as I often see people help others with no impact on the karma. - I occasionally see the karma negatively impacted by someone genuinely confused by what's happening (i.e. spam remixes, or as to why the comments on mainhive are closed.) I would not count these toward the karma as when people are genuinely confused, they might not have known it was spam. - What I believe being a manager of the Gaehive entails - I would imagine being a Gaehive manager would mean you would have to - - Shut the studio down during spam/if karma gets too low - Remind people of the rules - Switch out the thumbnail - Do karma rewards if the goal is met - Not break the rules - Help new members - Be active - And obviously more, I can't fit everything into just this. - Reccomendations - - . Dex is overall very kind, and I don't think I've ever seen him break a rule. - . Karkat is also very kind, as well as rather knowledgeable. I probably won't get manager, but who knows.
