part 2 here! updates got too long and my backups reached 1.9 https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1187465443/ Just press the green flag to generate a character. "Genes" button (the grey one under rank), turns black with white text (instead of really pale grey with barely darker text) when clicked and shows the cat's genetics. Click again to hide. Matches real life genetics somewhat (though some traits are missing, I'm working on that - but most of what you would find on a feral cat or the cats in the series(in the case of the second, whenever there IS a real life equivalent) is there.) Feel free to change and use both the character and the art however you want (you can press PrtScr/Print Screen on your keyboard and then paste somewhere to save the image, or right-click anywhere on the art and select "save image as", though that second one won't save the name or rank), but if you use the art non-edited or only slightly edited(adding a scar, making 1 eye a different color, something like that) please credit me. for those interested, old version here. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/653878434/
Warrior Cats, the clans, the naming system, and the ranks, belong to Erin Hunter. The art was made by me. Suggestions welcome for more prefixes, suffixes and kittypet names. Definitely not touching the old one again. updates: 26 may 2025:shared (and several batches of prefixes and suffixes after) 27 may 2025:12 more eye colors (now 16 total), blue eyes now only happens with white (I had left a bug in previously because there are a few rare mutations that allow not-white cats to have blue eyes, I'll work on getting that back at a lower rate maybe), blue eyes happens at a 2/3 not 1/3 frequency, doubled amount of prefixes (there should hopefully be few repeats now), added elders (because I apparently forgot to do that) 28 may 2025: it's only day 3 and I still have no views but I do not give any friggs about anything else in my life so you (the non-existent users) got another way to tortie (making the non-ginger the patches), colorpoint (high opacity forces blue eyes(siamese), lower opacities(mink or sepia) don't interact with blue eyes), low white can also now have blue eyes at a 1/3 frequency(previously it was only high white and full white), and 1/20 non-white cats have blue eyes also. Also heterochromia! To avoid having 2 eyes of different shades of blue, having blue eyes cancels heterochromia, but if the cat has non-blue eyes, then either the left or right eye can become blue. The rates are 1/10 for high or full white, 1/15 for low white, and 1/50 for no white (though the actual frequency might be different due to the possibility of both eyes being blue). I might implement something later to make it so the lighter shades of blue go with a light other eye, the dark blue with a dark other eye, etc. I also fixed ginger, so now ginger is always tabby like in real life, except a thing wasn't very clear about whether or not it triggers when it shouldn't but it was fixed with a 0.1 second wait, so it might take a tenth of a second for the stripes to appear if the cat wasn't going to be tabby anyway. And obviously I had to pair that with a pain in the behind to both make and look at that forces tortie patches to be tabby without impacting the rest of the cat, which is how that works in real life. This also takes a little bit of time (like 0.2-0.3 secs? unclear, I just know it finally works in some way at least) to apply. I also added mediator and mediator apprentice. Medicine cat and mediator apprentices can have a paw name OR a unique suffix(though med cat apps worked that way the whole time). Not adding queens(or studs, which is the male equivalent, or some gender neutral version) ever, because that is normally a temporary position and they're still considered warriors/deputies/leaders. I also changed the name generation to display what the suffix was/will be for a leader, apprentice, or kit in parentheses. Changed chocolate to be less black and more... chocolate. I don't know if I did it in the most smart or least smart way, but I made elder, kit, and warrior apprentice slightly more common, and warrior quite a bit more common. Was bored, came back AGAIN, added ungodly amounts of name parts for new totals of 240 prefixes and 80 suffixes. Still don't think I'm done, but things start getting a lil bit laggy if I open the stage's code (which is what's holding all of the name and rank code) 31 may 2025: Hi, have been too busy using this to update this.... I'm still only talking to Me, Myself and I. Anyway, I made rogues and loners (separate this time) whose names are prefixes, and kittypets, with actually kittypet names. The kittypet symbol is a bell collar again, except this time, it's the other kind of bell. Loners have a paw and rogues have a claw mark, instead of both sharing a blank. At first I added only 10 kittypet names but I went back to add 30 more (so 40 total), they cover little bits of all kinds of name types, from food to human names to planets and gods. Both of my cats' names are in there too! (Fluffy and her son Chip) I grabbed my sis and she got me rolling too, there are now 49 kittypet names, 257 prefixes and 85 suffixes. 10 june 2025: Added 1 kittypet name. Now it's a round 50. Changed how point works slightly (siamese now has a higher lowest limit, and mink and sepia are separate, and there is less overlap between mink and either of the others). Implemented "Genes" button (the grey one under rank), turns black with white text (instead of really pale grey with barely darker text) when clicked and shows the cat's genetics. Click again to hide.
