Hi! This is a tutorial on how to create a white outline around your art in procreate. White outlines can give your main piece a sticker vibe, help it to stand out, or just make it pop. You can switch the white out for any other color. Enjoy! - Instructions - 1. Set the color to the color you want for the outline 2. Open up the layers tab 3. Select your outline layer (if you don't have an outline or merged all the layers, create an outline - in any color - on a separate layer using a relatively thick brush) 4. Slide your outline layer to the side using 1 finger. Click duplicate 5. Select the duplicated outline layer 6. Hold down on it for 3-5 seconds 7. Drag the duplicated outline layer to the section below your piece 8. Go to the adjustments tab (click the magic wand) 9. Select 'Gaussian Blur' then slide it until the percentage is around 4-5 (the higher the percentage the thicker the outline) 10. Go to the little lasso tool 11. Set the mode to 'Automatic' and the settings to 'Add' and 'Color Fill' 12. Click the area around the piece (or the background) 13. Click 'Invert' In the settings bar then, tada! You have the outline! Click the lasso tool to unselect it.
