when it becomes more than a crush. but is it really? press the green flag. one of two songs on this album that aren't about my own feelings. however, they are about my life, and something important. my best friend had a crush, and school was almost over. she wouldn't see him for the whole summer. so i knew i had to do something for them. this is one of the two songs i wrote about them. although they're not drawn from my own feelings, they weren't any harder to write. i drew from everything she said in our texts, everything she told me about him that made her smile. that's where it came from.
