HI so to my teacher viewing this: pls do not check my profile on here just respect my privacy ok :') but, for some context to the like 100 ppl following me on here: this is my final ELA project of the year! we have to make a project about a theme that is in at least 3 of the stories we read this year, and I chose loss + appreciating what you have I worked hard on this so i hope everyone on this site + my teacher obviously likes it :D this is a short animation thing taking place on a candle. the 2 characters are flames, because sometimes on a candle there can appear to be 2 different flames, even of different colors. this is to represent how nothing and nobody lasts forever, like how flames always eventually burn out but it sure can, and does, last a long time
my theme statement: life is not perfect. it is flawed and strange and even hellish at times. but, there are good aspects and people to it, ones that are worth living for, appreciating and loving. it is all temporary and thus we should love it while it is there. based off of: the outsiders, nothing gold can stay, all summer in a day song: in the aeroplane over the sea, by neutral milk hotel (shout-out to my dad for showing me this song + the band overall! they make pretty good music) vhs effect by @LogoFun13 (p.s. the flames' names are aurelia (the orange one) and florence (the blue one) bc i got attached to them and felt the need to name them)
