Gentlemen of High command. I, commander of the British army, propose this plan to utterly crush the Fascists. Four of my British Divisions will land to the east, four american divisions to the west. In order to cut off Italian communications and methods of reinforcing the beaches, the 1st British Airborne shall be deployed north of the British landing, and the 82nd and 101st north of the American landing. Another five divisions shall come ashore after the landing. Partisans shall support the paratroopers.
