Multiple eyes are common on NoctilucaWings. The most common number of eyes for a NoctilucaWings is 2-3 per SOF granting better vision, while dragons with 1 eye per SOF have worse vision. Some can have as many as 10 eyes per SOF To be updated with more potential lore later Ages: Hatchlings - Babies 0-100 years. Adult - Mature/Grown NoctilucaWings 101-180 years. Elder - Older adults 190-290 years. Senescent - Older elders 299-400 years. Differences through age(s): Hatchlings: Hatchlings have a second set of limbs and cannot fly, these extra forelimbs are to cling onto cave walls and ceilings. they also turn into their wings once they go through their metamorphism. Adults: Adults have wings, and fuller antlers, their extra forelimbs from their hatchling stage make up their wings. Elder: Elders have bigger antlers, they can look like tree branches. Senescent: Senescents look similar to Elders, their antlers' have started growing vines and flowers, only about 1 in 10 Glow Wings live long enough to become Senescents Basic Lore!!! History: Like Hivewings, Silkwings, and Leafwings, NoctilucaWings also share a common ancestor with those three tribes! Beetlewings! Although their percentage of Beetlewings DNA is less than 2%, some hatchlings can grow up and gain insect-like wings, although cases like this are rare. Mutations specific to NoctilucaWings: Permanent Larvae/pupae: NoctilucaWings with this mutation never change their hatchling limbs into wings, and are stuck with them permanently Scaleless: like common serpents, Glowwings can be born without scales Beetle wings: their wings are often folded under an Elytra (Shell) and are like that of a Ladybug* * = subject to change
