The BIBS (the Bajan Island Broadcasting System) often simply called "Channel 4" on-air through their 8PJ-TV 4 station in Bridgetown, was a short-lived television network in Barbados, broadcasting on an analog frequency of 346.2 kW ERP and 60 kW TPO in terms of power. The station was formed in 1995 as competition for the pre-existing CBC (Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation) company, although the station immediately suffered huge economic losses from the CBC, following the BIBS transmitting most of the same copyrighted programs the CBC were, alongside illegally-imported content from other countries, leading to a lawsuit that ended up costing the company so much in revenue that it led to its shutdown just 1 year later in 1996. [THIS IS ALL A WORK OF FICTION, OBVIOUSLY.]
