M.B.S Marching Band Simulator ------------------------------------------------- You can use this program to help you visualize your parts you need to march or to design your own parts! I want to add a mobile mode in the future, so stay tuned for that. How does it work? This project requires a keyboard to function. Sorry mobile users. Press Q to show and hide the variables. Use the sliders to change your position on the field. Press W to enable/disable color mode. Press E to save your position. The marcher's current position will be saved and will be marched to in however many counts you enter from the previous saved position. Press R to enter a specific yard line position. Press T to enter a specific steps off of hash position. Press Y to add a halt. The marcher will stay in place for however many counts you enter. Press U to add a turn. It will go from whatever direction it was facing to the current direction. Press I to set the tempo Press / button to insert a corresponding command at a specific point. Press O to undo your last command. Press P to remove a specific command. Press X to view all commands Press Enter to reset all progress. Press Space to play and stop your performance. Once the performance is done, it will ask if you would like to make a save code. To use a save code, either reset all progress by pressing enter, or by clicking the green flag and answering "Yes" to the question. Before beginning, make sure you enter your starting position and direction. Put the marcher in the position and direction you want, and set the counts to 0. Also be sure to set the tempo. If these are not set at the start, the marcher will start in the center of the field, facing home hash, with a tempo of 100 BPM. ------------------------------------------------- Horizontal scale: 1 yard = 3.5 pixels 1 step = 0.625 pixels Vertical scale: 1 yard = 5.6 pixels 1 step = 3.5 pixels ------------------------------------------------- Recent updates: fixed my false information on how much a step was horizontally. Made small changes to the editor to make your experience more enjoyable. Made / commands easier Added a way to view your commands without pressing / Fixed save codes. The system no longer crashes when you enter an invalid save code. Project is now published! ------------------------------------------------- Save codes I made: Bass drum 2 movement one of Valhalla: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX§i∫100§u∫-90∫0§e∫0∫91∫0§e∫0∫7∫24§y∫18§i∫120§e∫-35∫7∫16§e∫-26.25∫-7∫16§y∫16§e∫-8.75∫-7∫8§y∫16§e∫-8.75∫-63∫16§e∫8.75∫-91∫12§y∫20§e∫-8.75∫-21∫21§y∫24§e∫8.75∫-63∫16§e∫43.75∫-49∫20§e∫26.25∫-28∫16§y∫12§ Bass drum 2 movement two of Valhalla: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX§e∫26.25∫-28∫0§u∫-90∫0§i∫110§e∫-8.75∫-28∫16§e∫-17.5∫-49∫16§e∫-8.75∫14∫24§y∫28§e∫-35∫-63∫24§e∫-52.5∫-63∫8§e∫-52.5∫-35∫8§e∫-43.75∫-49∫8§i∫150§y∫84§e∫-32.3203125∫-49∫15§y∫17§ (I had to march these on an actual field.) It's been a while since I've uploaded something. Sorry about that. I don't think I'm going to do any animation for a while. I might occasionally upload something small, but no other big things until Laser Gladiators is finished. Sorry about that.
