Use left and right arrow keys to move, and Up Arrow to jump. The physics are different from the original game. My lowest death count record in this is 23. Different colors give you different powers for as long as you touch them: Yellow: Touch this portal to teleport to the next level. Red: Touch this and you die. Purple: Touch this and you warp to the top middle of the screen. Hold SPACE to warp to the top right. Orange: Touch this to ZOOM forward. Enemies: 1. Recto: Moves side to side towards you. Can be ridden (Useful on Level 4) 2. Flying Recto: Same as ordinary Recto, except it stays at a fixed height. 3. Angry Sun (From Super Mario Bros 3): Floats around in the Desert World. 4. Lil' Cinders (From Super Mario Galaxy): Mod of Super Scratch Cat's Lil' Brrrs. Acts the same except that you die instantly rather than freezing if you touch it. 5. Fiery Recto: Flying Recto that kills you if you touch it, and drops balls that also kill you. 6. Red Ball: The only enemy (besides the boss) that was in the first release of Super Scratch Cat, Super Scratch Cat 2, and Super Scratch Cat 3. It bounces around the screen, like a Pong ball. It is also the boss's primary weapon. 7. The Ghoul: The boss of the game. You have to get to the yellow button to produce a mysterious light that vanquishes the ghoul, while avoiding the balls. Do it before the balls accumulate so much that you can barely move and the ghoul becomes impossible to beat. If this does happen, you have failed and the world will remain subject to the ghoul's tyranny.
UPDATE 4/6/2020: Re-imported the Scratch 2.0 version of this game, and made a minor adjustment to Scratch Cat's hitbox to make it possible in Scratch 3.0 again. Found out the code for changing the difficulty mode from Super Scratch Cat is still active, haven't tested to see if it does anything yet. I actually had a lot of fun making this. It was very nice designing levels for Super Scratch Cat like I used to, something I hadn't done for a couple years or something, since Super Scratch Cat 4 works completely differently when it comes to designing levels and stuff, and all the other Super Scratch Cat work I had been doing at that time were little updates and a game or two with very simple and half-hearted level creation. In case you couldn't tell, I went all out with this short pack of levels, bringing forth whatever random ideas and mechanics I could pull out of the original Super Scratch Cat (Because this is just a remix of the original with almost all the same code) and raising the difficulty to the max, even exploiting several glitches and other exploits from the original; just whatever I could dig up out of my first good project ever: Super Scratch Cat. NOTE: Some stuff like the enemies having different behaviors/physics and stuff is because this is built off an older version of Super Scratch Cat (version 1.6 I think). Based off Hudson Soft's 1986 Super Mario Bros Special. This is a direct sequel to Super Scratch Cat made with the same engine, and is in fact a remix showing an example of how you, if you remix Super Scratch Cat, can make your own custom levels. Actually, don't even call this a sequel; it is really a bonus 5th world to Super Scratch Cat. It is HIGHLY recommended that you beat Super Scratch Cat in HARD mode before playing this, as it is very difficult. Some of the levels are just edited versions of the levels in Super Scratch Cat, made much more difficult. Also, this is only 1 world. The gray ghoul guarding the portal at the end is actually a fake; get past him and into the back of the portal to fight the real one. The boss is slightly changed from in the original project. For one, the balls disappear after a bit, giving you a second chance. Also, sometimes the ghoul will release tiny Lil' Cinder enemies at you, and all the while the Sun floats around. Up for a challenge? This is the game for you! (Credits in Super Scratch Cat).
