I found an early version of My Singing Monsters (then called Songster Island) From around 2010 or 2011. The only cohesive files that haven't been deleted are unused and unfinished Demos of the natural Islands. Air Island! This one is probably the closest out of all these demos to the final thing. What's the most interesting to me is that PomPom uses its current Earth Island sound instead of the Air island one. Probably cause Hoola hadn't come around yet. Pretty sure the flute is the beta Scups, called Fwoot. This is also where the Plant Island T-Rox comes from, and Is probably why Noggin has the same sound on Plant island and Air island in the final build.
So I've seen these fake "Demos" of MSM island floating around the internet and thought it would be fun to make some of my own. I really mixed together the parts for this one. It has elements from Not just Air, But Plant and Earth as well. I learned that Scups' Beta name was "Fwoot" and thought it would be fun to lean into the woodwinds since there aren't many of those in our MSM.
